I went for an event during the day with my kiddo. I loved it. The staff was awesome and they knew us moms would need some alcohol and they served us at 11 am! Many thanks for that! Also friendly staff who allowed to me to leave and come as I needed to get some fresh air and a smoke. Cool place.
I'm not from the area so I had a difficult time finding a place to park and finding the venue. I ended up parking in a garage and asking around the find the right place. I went in and found out that the tickets were purchased outside of the venue. I had to go out and purchase my ticket, but everything was smooth after all that. I really liked it there and the staff was friendly.
Very small, intimate venue. There were less than 50 people at the show, one bartender, and a few staff members. The staff were courteous, the venue and bathrooms were clean. Would definitely go again! Photos attached were from standing front row in the pit.
Spectacular small venue! This is great experience!
Staff is really friendly and the space is great!
Will definitely visit again! Keep bringing in the great talent! This is a hidden gem in Cbus for sure.
Loved the intimate setting. Saw Hail the Sun & others (rock genre) and had a great time. Awesome energy and great sound quality. Just wear ear plugs, as the small venue means you'll be right next to a speaker somewhere.
Knocked down one star though because, oml, it was HOT. The show was in August, and the venue seems to have no ventilation with very low roofs. The ceiling was literally condensating from the humidity, and a number of the crowd and performers wound up shirtless by the end of the night.
So... Maybe attend a winter show. And be ready to hydrate 😂
What an evening The Amazing Radkey opened for on and only Local H. Both bands were fantastic the sound was good and the facility was clean.
My first concert was here. It was pretty great mostly because it was a band that I particularly enjoyed. But it was sweet because tickets were only like 10$ for the band I was seeing. Pretty alright all things considered for a group I enjoy. Didnt really get any drinks so I can't say much to the bar but it seemed pretty meh. This is an alright venue. Definitely a cheap venue for seeing music groups.
Probably one of my favorite places to shoot bands. Small and intimate and never over crowded even when it’s sold out. Ticket prices are always fair, security is super friendly, and they attract some spectacular acts.
I love this place.
The locale was great. Got to see Yung Bae and Birocratic play. The sound was booming and the light show was off the charts. Definitely intice more Future Funk artists to do a show in the Basement.
Saw "the Accidentals" in a very low attended concert, but the venue was nice for a small music venue. With a few table seats toward the back (near the pizza window) there is plenty of standing room and a patio. The angle of the stage and speaker placement is questionable... The bar had limited draft (think it was four choices) and the floor was sticky in more places it should be. The appearance of security was there, and they ID everyone.
A small, intimate venue. The show we saw had about 50 people in the audience which meant everyone got a great view of the band. Not too loud. Very casual. Limited options for drinks. Quick, friendly service at the bar. We will be checking for shows here next time we are in Columbus.
Great place to watch great shows. They've had ripe a couple times who is amazing. I love the feel of being down in the pit. Great place to go.
