I came here after an article in Stock & Barrel and am so glad I did. We got the hummus, grape leaves, lamb pallow and a couple gyro plates. The lamb on the pallow was so tender and perfect. The hummus was the best, though. Go get some!
I am sad to see this place go. I hope it opens back up after construction. They have great food. I usually get a samosa and a gyro sandwich they have a delicious sauce that is a little different from a traditional tzatziki. The only thing I would like to see improve cleanliness. All main surfaces are clean but there are fingerprints on equipment and dirt under equipment and in corners.
Two words: Kabuli pallow. One of the most delicious dishes in existence. The price on this particular meal has steadily increased, but it's worth it. It's an Afghani dish (the place used to be called Cafe Kabul and had beautiful Afghani decorations).
Although there's a steady flow of college kids, the staff and dine-in clientele are typically foreign, but from various regions of the Islamic world. Why is that relevant? Because it is a badge of authenticity and shows the owner's dedication to his community. This is a melting pot example of "the American dream" with amazing food as the foundation.
They just moved in to the old Bella pizza just east of Pat and Gracie in Graceland. Formerly Cafe Kabul they have gyros and kabob, but also a selection of Afghanistan, Pakistani foods Tandoori, Tikka and samosas.
I stopped in today for the first time and I've got to say customer service here is top notch. They're running a two for $6 on their gyros right now and it's a total bargain. They don't chince on the meat! The gyros are full size and delicious to the last bite. If you're in the area and you're craving middle eastern food, this is your place.
We came here for dinner after a night of shopping is this was just across the parking lot and pretty easy. I had a gyro and Kathleen had a hummus plate. I had my mind set on kabobs but did not see any on the menu. Nonetheless the gyro was pretty good. the staff was friendly and the food was out to us within about four minutes. I wish they had a little better drink selection. Seating area is very clean. And would definitely come here again.
Delicious food. Most plates range from about $5-$11. I got the chicken gyro sandwich and it was very tasty. A bit heavy in the sauce, but overall very good. It is called a sandwich, but actually comes in a pita. I also got the hummus, which comes with pita bread that tasted fresh and was very delicious! I would definitely go back
Awesome pizza. I love the Bella pizza. The dough was scrumptious and the cheese tastes real. The toppings are fresh and located in a convenient place with lots of parking. I also tried the chicken buffalo which was great. I will repeat for sure. Way better than hour conventional pizza places
The owner is extremely nice. The pizza was cooked well, the crust was just right and the ingredients good. I tasted the rice and homemade tazieki sauce and they were great. I will come back.
My new favorite pizza place in Columbus. Loved their buffalo chicken and chicken tikka pizza. Not just the toppings, even their pizza crust is delicious. The workers are very polite and genuine. Scrumptious food and great service, definitely a thumps up !
