Closer to a 3.5 (which isnt a bad thing for a little corner dive joint).
FOOD - not too bad. Differing styles, flairs, takes and tastes on similar dishes served at other Chinese restaurants but overall usually pretty good.
PRICE/VALUE - reasonably priced.
SERVICE - prompt, pleasant but hurried.
ATMOSPHERE - nothing special but only have take-out experience.
Will and do go back for quick and good Chinese food.
Lived a mile from this place for years. Finally pulled the trigger tonight. Best Chinese in columbus! Hidden gem of Trabue. Everything we ordered was great. Wife loved the kung pow chicken. Spicy wontons were unbelievable. I'll be back soon!
The best Asian/Chinese food in Columbus!. Hands down the best. The owner Tony can make anything in around 10 minutes. Even when he is about to close (or closed if he is still there) he is happy to take your order and fix you excellent food. Something you want that is not on his huge menu ask and he can probably make it. The egg drop soup is heavenly! My husband and I have never gotten anything but great food and fast service. It is our #1 choice for Asian/Chinese food. His store is always very clean and you can tell he is very proud to be a restaurant owner.
Stumbled upon this family-run gem on a cross-country road trip (thanks urban spoon!) Really delicious - especially the southeast Asian dishes - and though the decor is sparse, the service was great. Ask for recommendations from the server. We eat a lot of Asian food, and I wish this place were in my hometown.
Best in Columbus. Without a doubt, Twin Sunlight is the best chinese food in Columbus. I've tried dozens of places, but Twin Sunlight outshines the rest. The cook is extremely nice, and very efficient. The food is cooked fast and always tastes wonderful. He has a good memory for your favorite food choices. I've tried at least half the menu, and so far everything - even the thing I normally don't care for at other restaurants - is delicious.
Owner ALWAYS greets me with a smile, makes ya feel welcome! Food is priced great as we all know prices are soaring. I have ate here probably 15 times during and since pandemic ( I believe they had just opened up ) & have enjoyed every item I’ve tried. I highly recommend 10 outta 10!
We had seafood Pho 😋 it was huge portions ! And it was the first time trying it and it was delicious 😋 also the customer service was excellent!
I live across the street and was just looking for something close, and I found this gem. Was greeted by the sweetest man and made my food within 10 minutes. I got the most saucy General Tso with a side very delicious fried rice. I also got a huge portion of beef pho that was full of flavor. Will definitely be coming back soon.
Good good and nice owner. I enjoyed the hunan chicken and Kung pao chicken the best. Wonton soup was also large and tasty.
Absolutely delicious, very fast and the workers were very kind and efficient. I got the chicken lo mein and it was so much better than expected, and you got a decent amount. It wasn't super greasy either!

I just had some of the best Kung Pao chicken there last night. This place is the best around. Eat there once, and I guarantee you will come again for more!
They have been a family favorite for decades.
Pam makes some the best Pad Thai in town, and it truly is a family owned and operated restaurant.
We especially like that they handle all sorts of special requests, and will add stir fry vegetables to any dish.
And any seafood or meat dish you get normally has large portions of the meat or seafood, so you get a good deal for the money you spend at Twin Sunlight!

I usually plan where I am going to have a meal that I review. Anyhow,, I was wanting lunch and was on Phillipi Rd and knew there was an Asian restaurant close by. So I decided to try The Twin Sunlight. The Sunlight is small family run affair, just my kind of place. Its a mix of Asian food styles. I chose the Pork with bean sprouts, lunch size. After seeing the nest table served their Pho ( vietnamese soup ) I wished I had ordered that. O well such is life, well, my life anyway. The pork w/ bean sprouts was served fast with a side of fried rice. It was cooked perfect, the protein well cooked and the bean sprouts warm and still crunchy. They added nice slivers of onion greens to the bean sprouts and a rich soy based sauce. The fried rice was also well cooked and just sticky enough, but had a bland flavor. A little more egg and some onion would have helped the fried rice. The portion was slightly small but over all the meal was very good.
I noticed the reviews of the Sunlight were either good or bad. Its strange how people can have such polar opinions of this restaurant. As for me, I'll be back, I have to try their Pho .
Exceptionally good Thai food! I only ate from the “Chef Special” menu, 5 nights as I was in town. I had 5 different dishes, not once my normal Pad Thai. VERY GOOD take out food.
Great place with some of the best egg rolls in town. Though I haven't been here in awhile prior to my latest visit this is a great place to get some good food. My family use to live around the corner when I was teen and this was our go to spot for Asian cuisine. I even use you ride my bike here just to get those good good egg rolls. I miss those days! Keep up the great work!
