The location of this restaurant is a little underwhelming. Looks like you're pulling into an abandoned mall if not for the cars huddled about the building.
Make sure you check the opening times. The restaurant isn't just open 8am-9pm like you may think, but in several hour blocks.
You get a lot of food so prepare for a high bill even if you've purchased a Groupon. Remember, it's $30 or $60 off your purchase, not a free entrée lol Duh, but it might go over your head.
Prepare for fires erupting all around you. Tell the cook about your allergies and they'll separate your food.

Groupon for $15 gave me $30 off 2 dine in dinners. Drinks are reasonable at $2.59. Tonight they opened knowing the didn't have bean sprouts: since this goes with every meal, as a manager I might have tried to get them from some other place, or at least come out and apologized for not serving them.
Overall we had a man who was friendly, but didn't have a lot of tossing or hibachi skills yet. Our server Alex was very nice and friendly- definitely tip on the total bill to ensure the staff isn't short changed because ya get a Groupon.
The place has an odd smell when you enter and the decor is dated - some things could use a deep cleaning.
It's a fun time if you have kids who would enjoy a show though: downside is zero items for a kid who doesn't enjoy Asian.
Amazing atmosphere, amazing food, amazing service. I loved the decorations, the building is beautiful inside and outside. Our chef was very kind and made conversation. Our wait time was a bit extended due to a miscommunication in the staff, but it did not interfere with the overall experience. I recommend to anyone that enjoys hibachi food!
It has been 30 years since we have been here. Nice to see a welcoming atmosphere, good service, and delicious filling lunch special.
Food was very tasty and the service was great. Was a little disappointed that the hibachi grill "show" isn't performed during lunch. The egg sauce was excellent!
This has been one of my favorite places for several decades. They have some of the most delicious sauces there compared to other places. I also love how dark this place is. It's really cozy.

Food was great. The wife and I got the chicken fried rice lunch special with extra egg. Chef cooked it perfectly and fast. Soup and salad were good.
