These are the best donuts around, hands down. They’re always busy, which tells you something, but they are fast and efficient with getting people in and out. They also sell little cuts of cake, which are so moist and delicious. The chocolate chip cookies are amazing, too. Come through, you won’t regret it!
We stopped at the local Hallmark store to pickup a gift for a friend who had recently given a baby boy.
While the wife was picking the gift and I discovered a crowd entering the next door.
As you enter you take a number from a ticket machine. The smell of fresh baked goodies hits you.
The donuts are marvelous. I love the cinnamon buns.

I did not know this gem been apart of the Columbus experience for a long time and when I got the opportunity to stop by for myself it was amazing I appreciate the staff and the baked goods are delicious and that classic authentic homemade bakery taste is outstanding !!! Stop by and get you a bow tie donut or a cheese danish and thank me later.
Resch's Bakery has been my bakery of choice for all occasions for as long as I can remember. Recently, they've really stepped up their customer service AND new innovative sweets. This strawberry delight(not sure what it's called) is AMAZING! It made my entire day and I'm still talking about it a week later.
Finally made it here after living in Columbus for almost two decades. This place is awesome. Old school bakery feel with very friendly employees. Having opened in 1912, it is the oldest bakery in Columbus. Tried a pretzel, maple cream long John, Boston cream and apple fritter. Every bite of these was delectable, even the next day. Upon learning it was my first visit, I was gifted the most delicious piece of apricot raisin rugelach. It was perfect and you could taste the cream cheese in the dough with every bite. Can’t wait to go back!
Incredible spot. Super busy so you know it's a favorite for locals. Super friendly staff. Would recommend ordering ahead a couple days in advance to get everything you want and to skip the line. There is a great variety of things here ranging from cookies to rolls to donuts. I really enjoyed this place and will be back.
My wife took me here for the first time as she’s from Columbus, and OMG all I can say is that I was PLEASANTLY surprised and never need to eat another Krispy Kreme donut ever again! I’m boycotting them in fact. The chocolate donut and the “butterscotch roll” that seems like a cinnamon roll to me is absolutely TO DIE FOR!!!! And, I don’t remember his name, but the young black man that helped us had the biggest smile the entire time and was so eager to help us, and I appreciated his customer service so much! Will definitely be back for more in the near future!! ☺️
The donuts were delicious. The test of a good donut shop is their plain cake. Their plain old fashioned cake was maybe the best I've ever had. The light crust on it was sooo good.
A good old-fashioned bakery! I bought donuts and cookies and pretzels. We loved them all. Reminded me of bakeries I went to as a young girl. I'll be back!
Been going here since I was a little kid they still have the best doughnuts and cakes
