Had a great Sunday lunch. Food and service were excellent. It was a beautiful and sunny day, so the garden/patio were so nice.
We had a salmon BLT sandwich with a side balsamic salad (delish) and the second meal was a gourmet grilled cheese and fries (also 2 thumbs up).
We will definitely be back, probably often ( :
Great place to spend an afternoon in Columbus. Food is quite good and the atmosphere is excellent, cute little outdoor square you can eat in when the weather is nice. We like to grab a bite to eat and picnic on the lawn with our daughter, then go inside and see the exhibits when we are done!
Got a good Americano iced coffee (they have that and house blend) and sat outside in their beautiful shaded sculpture garden. The staff was more than nice, and fun to joke around with. We thought the name, Schokko Cafe, was a cutesy way of saying the coffee is strong enough to shock you to your senses. However it turns out it is named after a painting in the museum which was named after a nickname the artist gave to his model. It means "chocolate" and he gave her the name because she liked hot chocolate so much. This is the painting.
Ordered the Breakfast meal (forgot the specific name) and the hot chocolate both were very freshly made and delicious! Got all for $15 which was a bit over but for the food it was worth it!
Definitely would recommend you stop by to grab a meal before visiting the museums paintings.
I mostly only get breakfast and coffee. Nice place, you don't need to pay admission. The plates are always aesthetically pleasing. I wouldn't recommend going on Sunday for dine in, it usually packed. The staff has always been friendly to me. If you go to places solo, this is one of the places to go
Beet salad was so delicious and the staff was beyond friendly. The courtyard is one of my favorite little escapes in Columbus. Great place to relax and zone out for a bit.
The food here is extremely good, and the service is super friendly and quick. The environment is beautiful with floor to ceiling windows looking into the sculpture garden, and it is super inviting with multiple pride flags and welcoming messages.
Great lemon scones. The plates and cups are hand made and nice to hold. When you pay ask for stump on your parking ticket to waive the fee.
Great place to grab a bite to eat while you explore world-class art. They serve artisan food that is created with great care.
To be honest, my wife and I like to just eat at the cafe, outside the experience of the museum.
