Best dinner we've ever had. The staff was great, and out waitress, Kirsten, was fantastic. We started with a cocktail and the Shrimp Cocktail. The drinks were good, the Shrimp Cocktail was amazing; perfectly cooked jumbo shrimp and the cocktail sauce didn't have that over-powering horseradish flavor. We then received a nice treat from the staff; they brought each of us a sampling of King crab with fried won ton and a special sauce. It was delicious. We followed that up with a special cut of steak, king crab, and a lobster tail. The steak was the tenderest, most flavorful cut of steak we've had. The king crab was perfect, and the lobster tail was big and meaty. We didn't order desert, but I have no doubt it would have been exquisite. We will be going back!!! Only 5 stars because there was no option for 6 or more!
Where to start..... it’s amazing!!! We had made reservations for our anniversary and they made the night so memorable! We were surprised when we arrived at our table, they had rose petals on it and a cute card saying Happy Anniversary. We had the Surf and Turf and it was cooked to perfection!! The filet was cooked perfectly. The scallops were seared to perfection. Our server Max was on point all night. He was very helpful in wine selections and pairings. He was knowledgeable on the menu and had all the answers to our questions. We will definitely be going back!! Thank you for an amazing meal and a memorable anniversary! �
Great evening at Black Point celebrating my birthday! Awesome service, fabulous food, loved the lobster crab cake and my bison steak! Family style sides and the flourless chocolate torte as delicious as well! We will be back and it is one of my new favorite restaurants.
Let’s start with the filet mignon it was absolutely insanely delicious. Cooked to perfection. The sides are top notch as well. Friends we went with tried lobster for the first time and they loved it. The service was exceptional. To top it off the salted Carmel cheesecake was out of this world.
I loved it! Very classy but also encompasses a trendy, inviting neighborhood (Short North) vibe. Delicious steak & seafood offering but plenty for the vegan to enjoy as well. I visited as a group but it could be romantic also. Thank U for an entirely enjoyable evening b4 the game!
This place is AMAZING... We celebrated Our wedding anniversary here and we were not disappointed. From the valet out front to the coat service, down to the dessert it was phenomenal. We had the 22 oz bone in ribeye, 5oz lobster with Brussel sprouts and crab mash... Lord have mercy... And the butter was perfect . This is definitely a get what you pay for place but it's worth every penny. They are up there with some of the best steakhouse and they should offer a signature steak knife.

One of the best fine dining experiences downtown. Laid back, relaxing atmosphere, great service that doesn't rush you but comes at exactly the right time. Food aplenty - you will not leave hungry. Masterfully crafted cocktails.
Friendly staff, excellent food, great ambience. Highly recommend Black Point for business dinner, night out with family or taking someone special. The manager is also very friendly and accommodating.
Fantastic service by Claudia, well paced meal the food arrived quickly for our party of 9 but we didn't feel rushed on new years eve. Loved the corn and bacon risotto and the scallops
I've eaten here twice and everything we've ordered has been delicious! We recently had dinner with a large party (12 people) and the service was fantastic! It's kind of expensive but it's a great place for a special occasion. My husband and I highly recommend eating here!
The Lobster Bisque was creamy and perfect. The Caesar Salad was good, as well, with a snappy dressing.
The 15 oz. New York Strip was cooked to perfection, topped with Maitre’d Butter. It didn’t have an overpowering flavor, but just the right amount of seasoning and smokiness.
The Loaded Hash Browns were also a hit. The wagyu tallow, cheese and sour cream made for unforgettable flavor.
All of the waitstaff were friendly and our server, Jillian, was good-humored and professional.

Went here for my birthday with a large group and had a great time. Service was great, food was amazing, menu was well planned. The house cocktails were amazing too!
