The Best steak I ever had in long time. Worth of every dollar. Cooked to order, no deviation or imperfection. If you like steak, if you are tired of usual and ordinary cuts of nothing special peaces of beef, that is a place for you. Do not be cheap, or think what you would have the same steak in other local restaurants, no and thousands times no.

Outrageously Good Food and Service. Okay, don't go here if you stress out about getting the most pounds of food for your dollar. You get a LOT of food, but it is NOT cheap. But, IMHO, it is worth every penny.
We had a party of 4 that started off with salads and apps. The Ahi Tuna Wontons, chop salad, and Tomato/Mozzarella were all very good. For mains, the prime fillets were perfect and melted like "budda"! Worth mentioning that they had some specials not on the menu and one of our party got one of these specialty steaks, the chipotle flat iron steak (with grilled onions & corn and a little chimichurri sauce) that was absolutely fantastic. Normally I wouldn't pick a dressed steak like that over a straight hunk of prime beef cooked perfectly (and all of these were cooked exactly as requested) but I had more than a couple bites of that one and it was a winner.
For deserts, the 4 of us had a HUGE hunk of very good carrot cake and one of the mixed berry Flambé deserts that was rich and sweet and decedent. Coffee for dinner comes in a french press and is accompanied by some chocolate shavings and some whipped sweet cream. Again, outrageous.
Finally, expect a very traditional gracious high-end and hands-on experience from the staff and the restaurant manager. This is an old-school steak house! Sit back and enjoy an experience of food and service.
Outstanding experience. Have dined at Eddie's at least ten times. The food is almost always great and the service is excellent.most recently I had the lobster special (2 whole lobsters, a Cesar salad and a side of redskin potatoes) for $40. But this is available on only a limited basis. Dinner at Eddie's can be expensive, as other reviews have noted. But the price is fair for the quality and I have never been disappointed.
Absolutely Fantastic. The husband and I had an absolutely fantastic meal at Eddie Merlot's - the atmosphere, staff, and overall experience were beyond our high expectations. Our strip steaks, wedge salads, and the side of lobster mashed were divine. It is defintiely my favorite steak house in Columbus and we are looking forward to returning.

Fine Dining in the Columbus OH area. Simply Amazing! Eddie Merlot's is every bit the fine dining I have come to expect. The incredible food and service is impeccable. The quality of chef's talents is equal too or better than restaurants I have frequented in L.A., New Orleans and Atlanta. So, put on your best duds and smile; then cruise on over to Polaris Parkway for a most enjoyable visual and tantalizing culinary experience.
Nice happy hour. This review is just about Eddie's happy hour. There are specials on drinks and food from 4:30 to 6:30 in the bar and lounge area. I met up with a friend at the bar. Our bartender/server was attentive but not pushy. My flatbread was a bit soggy so I wouldn't order it again, but my chopped salad was good and the martini was excellent. All the food was priced right.
Steve Davis. Who ever did not select Eddie Merlot's to be in the top 10 really does not go out much. This is a great restaurant. My Granddaughter and I went there ant it was over the top. The Matre de was the best. He treated this 11 year old like she was a princes. We have been to all of the best places and he treated her the best. The food was absolutely fantastic. I have been there with business clients and it has always been great.
If you're looking for an upscale place for a special occasion, give them a try. Our son loved the Mac and cheese and the chocolate cake. The hubby enjoyed the sweet potato casserole and banana foster. My sea bass was cooked well and very flavorful.
Had a really good night celebrating our 3 years of marriage! The waitress Hannah was so sweet and very attentive. The oysters were so fresh! I recommend this restaurant!
What an amazing and a Wonderful Place!! The best restaurant I’ve ever been!! The food is delicious!! Steaks are so tender! The people there are so nice and attentive! The manager is also so great and kind! Everyone makes you feel so important. They always strive to go above and beyond, especially Cole and Franco have always been treating my husband and I more then just guest but more like friends! They take the time to make sure everything turns out right and checks on us frequently. I highly recommend this place! I can defiantly say this is my favorite restaurant without a doubt! Thank you everyone for always making our experience 100%
WOW! The lamb chops were perfectly grilled, medium rare, and absolutely delicious. The little heirloom carrots were soft and wonderful. The corn chowder crab soup was smooth, buttery, tasty, and probably the best I've ever had. Service was perfect. Ambiance was very nice and peaceful with soft music playing in the background. 2 glasses of Chardonnay and what more could I ask for? Nice job.
I had the pleasure of returning to this fine establishment after a five-year hiatus, and it felt just like coming home. As an O.G. Nomad, I've dined on six continents, but there's something special about this spot that keeps drawing me back if I'm in the vicinity.

High end restaurant with outstanding service! Excellent food that is all made in house. Table service makes the experience incredibly enjoyable. By far one of the best restaurants we have been too. Many times food is good, but service falls short or vice versa. This place hits both marks and obviously you will pay with price. Definitely a treat to go there. We even received a personalized thank you note mailed to our home for dining with them. Wow! Nice touch!
Ate here for a friend’s birthday dinner. The atmosphere was great and laid back; the staff was friendly; the drinks and food were great. The pricing is what you would expect for a restaurant like this. I ordered the crab cakes for an appetizer, a trio which came with sausage, shrimp, steak, mashed potatoes, and a salad, and a slice of chocolate pecan pie with a lemon drop mixed drink and my check was $86. I really enjoyed dinning here and will definitely return.
An all around excellent experience. Our waiter, Jake, I believe... Team J anyway was absolutely amazing. He was friendly, made suggestions, and made sure that we were well cared for. The Filet del Mar was amazing, as was my Ceasar Sald with the anchovies added. I hope to return soon.
Went for Happy Hour. Had the Dragon Juice cocktail, Filet Mignon Sliders and the Tempura Green Beans. Everything was great. Will definitely be back
We had a private family dinner. Our servers were Jake and Nick, they were fabulous 👌 They were so attentive to anything we needed and so knowable about the food. They helped make the experience so much more. And the food was perfect. From appetizers to dessert, all soo...good. Can't wait to go back.
