Our favorite breakfast restaurant in Columbia. I never had Waffle House until a couple months ago, and it is fantastic. The employees are all very friendly and welcoming, they keep the coffee flowing, and I already have "the usual" which for me is a peanut butter waffle, bacon and a small bowl of grits. Comes out perfect every time.
We had the best waitress and service! It was after 10 pm and they still had smiles on their faces and eager to please. I was very happy we stopped there for a late dinner after rushing my cat to the emergency vet clinic there in Columbia.
A great place to eat! Our server, Joanie, was amazing and went out of her way to help everyone gave a great time (which was so wonderful, since we were a party of 12, with 7 kids under 7)! She's the best!
One part of my vacation in COMO that is essential. However, after repeating the order (and another server) they got my order wrong, still tasted good, but since many people have food allergies (mushrooms) it is important to get a Togo order ('any order) correctly. Till tasty and maybe I'll get mushrooms in my eggs next time.
This turned out to be the perfect place for my wife and I to end the Saturday night before 4th of July 2022. Great diverse crowd just looking to have a good time.. and great bar tenders.
Amazing as always, however, this time was especially wonderful because the cook whi has been there for 16 years knows how to run a kitchen!! He made our experience even better. Being from the west, we always look forward to Waffle House. Thank you, sir, for an amazing way to start our morning and get us off on the right foot.
The guy who took our order was nice, the cook was a woman and she was super nice and her cooking was grrrreat. I wish I could give her 10 stars.
