I was asked why I always run to G&D when I come into town. The customer service is spectacular, I feel like family! The pizza below was half-baked and frozen. I then wrapped it and froze for 4 days before I set flight to Seattle, Washington. My family there has not had G&D pizza in over 10 years. They stated it taste just as if they were at the restaurant. It's the small things that make a huge difference! Thank you G&D! You are the best!
I’m sometimes torn when it comes to old favorites. When you come back to a place that is largely unchanged from 20+ years ago…. It’s like putting on your favorite old shoes. They are scuffed and such but feel nice. That’s this place. A few new items and new prices, and a few new faces… but same great product. Thanks for adding some of the local brewery items. There are some things that are a little tired, but it’s always busy family place.
Really good pizza. We got a medium half supreme and half meat lovers. We also got the house salad. Food was very good and the staff was super friendly.
We've been twice, once in July 2019 (dined in) and last night, April 2022 (carryout). Both times the service was fantastic and friendly, and the food was really really good. Gyro/salad in 2019 was perfect. Last night we grabbed a pizza (pepperoni and bacon) to eat in the car on the way to STL. It was good fresh, room temp, and reheated again the next morning. That's the sign of a really good pizza.
Went here to have a Saturday lunch and had the chicken breast sandwich and my son ate the triple cheeseburger. Such good food and service. The staff are amazing and so friendly. It had always been one of my favorite places to go
My wife and I are new to Columbia and have been checking out different eateries for about a month now. G and D has the best pizza of all we've tried. And the Greek salad is amazing. Spaghetti is delicious, and...well, you get the picture. Great people here who have been doing this for a long time, and it shines through in the food quality. And some of the best servers in town make sure you have everything you need without being, well, irritating. Great food, great service, and a true family-friendly environment make for a terrific experience. Can't wait for our next pepperoni and jalapeno pie!
Very tasty pizza. Had the pizza for a company meeting so it was catered to the office. I ordered the chicken pizza and there was a great ratio of chicken to sauce to cheese and everything in between. Definitely is a different pizza when you want something other than your typical chain pizza places. They do offer several other food options and everyone seemed to enjoy the lunch selection. I look forward to going to the restaurant to try out more of the menu.
A local favorite for pizza, steak and gyros. It’s really delicious homemade in-house ingredients and one of my personal favorite places to eat in town. Really friendly awesome staff
