Delicious food on the buffet. The taste is varied, hot, and fresh. I highly recommend. Also many good vegetarian dishes. The rice and mango puddings are tasty as well.
Ended up at 2 gingers on a Monday evening to satisfy the indian taste buds. The staff was extremely friendly and kind.
To begin with, had mango lassi which was somewhat a mango smoothie with added sugar.
They served complementary papad with mint chutney, tamarind chutney and circa pyaz.
Next we ordered Bhel puri (Spice level 3/6). It was somewhat sweeter than it should have been but lemon to the rescue!
For the main course we had shrimp biryani (Spice level 2/6) which was nice. The raita served alongwith was really well done.
Chana masala (Spice 3/6) was sweet and disappointing.
Lamb Boti masala (Spice 4/6), sweet again but ok.
Chettinad chicken (Spice 4/6) nice, in fact nicest of all. Ordered the 2 ginger special Naan (minus the cheese).
Can definitely visit again but wouldn't be my first choice though.
Good food. We ordered dosa. It was very nice and crispy with sambhar and chutneys.
We also ordered malai kabab. Those were good too. Good service.

Good place to be at ...
Amazing! I have been to several Indian restaurants in SC & GA, this place is the best Indian food I have had! Very authentic!! I highly recommend trying it! They will adjust the spice level for those who don't like it spicy.
I've never written a review on Zomato before, but when I saw the negative review below, I had to defend my favorite Indian food in Columbia! We ate there tonight (10/15/15) for the fifth time since we moved here from Atlanta in June.
The food is phenomenal and the portions are generous. The 2 Gingers Special Kofta is incredibly delicious - we've had it four out of five times. I've also tried several of their appetizers and meat dishes - each was delicious. I could eat the Chicken Mahkani (aka Butter Chicken) like a stew. My father-in-law also spoke highly of the lunch buffet.
Service was a bit dicey on our first visit, but the restaurant was packed and I understand that there was a special coupon expiring soon. Since then, our service has been impeccable. We plan to return on a Thursday soon for Dosa night!
Hands down, best Indian restaurant in town! Food was amazing!
GREAT FOOD IN USA 10/10 Au.... GREAT FOOD IN USA 10/10
Authentic Indian test . Order spice level 3 for Indian people and level 1 for American . Hard to find real kadaee paneer in USA.
Liked the food but the prices were very high compared to other Indian restaurants
Very good Indian Food restaurant and Nice tasty food for Indian food at Columbia, SC. One of the best Indian food in Columbia area. The food taste really good especially Dosai, Sambhar and Chutney. The buffet has lot of variety and they give you Dosai other than a Buffet. Amazing. It is a nice locality . Great Service personnel are Sangita and Mahesh. We cannot forget the other people who cook and make a difference also especially the Chefs. Really enjoyed the friday night dinner (5/23/2014) and again Saturday Lunch Buffet (5/24/2014) and again on Monday lunch (5/26/2014). I went continuously on three occasion which is rare since i am too picky or fussy they say here!!:) but I really loved it. Great place to visit Indian food. They have lot of varieties also. Even though it looks like Vegetarian-they do serve Non-Vegetarian i did see some items, but i am good at what are those!:!)
