I went here tonight with my family. A lady named Marie was assisting us. She is a really sweet lady. Excellent customer service. A smile that will light up your day. Thank you for being so helpful tonight and letting us know about your season dates. I haven't had Rita's in years and it was delicious!
Incredible!! You can walk up and pick from so many options, custard + ice alike. And there are dog friendly tables!
The workers are always super nice. And patient. Have yet to order anything I didn't like. Anytime we're downtown, we make an effort to stop here and get a treat.
I love Rita’s and quite literally stumbled upon this location. I couldn’t pass it up, so I got a small cotton candy italian ice. There was a small line, but we got through it very quickly. It was so delicious and it was a great treat for a warm day! There is a small seating area near the ordering window that we sat at, and it was nice to be able to sit down and relax.
Delicious icecream. Has a amazing texture and the perfect amount of sweetness for a hot summer day. It looks like a pretty small business so I recommend trying it to not only support them but have a tasty treat.
First visit here on Lady St. today. Very good. Got a sundae and Italian ice (Island Fusion). My only recommendation is just get a large since it's only a few cents more than the small. 😁
What's not to love about Rita's!? We've had great and quick service at each visit to this location. The gelatis and frozen drinks have all been great!
The chocolate ice cream in a cake cone was delicious! Some of the best I've had in awhile. If you're in Columbia South Carolina stop in at Rita's. It's worth it.
The first time I ever heard mention of this place was on an episode of 'This Is Us'. We're from MI so we weren't familiar with it. We were happy to find this location in downtown Columbia where we now live. The young lady who served us on 8-16-22 at about noon was pleasant and helpful. That was so very appreciated because service with a great attitude is a thing of the past. We will DEFINITELY be back after tasting that cup of creamy frozen amazingness!
