Such a beautiful place to spend the evening for a meal and drink. Wish there was another place for smokers away from the patio.
This is a wonderful place to play. Pro shop and starters are top notch. Course is always in great shape. Reasonable fees. And don't forget to try the bar and grill.
Our favorite lovster roll in town! Try it on Fridays only and enjoy views of Pikes Peak with the best poured drink in town. With a list of drafts that includes sparkling wine, you can choose your own adventure at this Colorado Springs must see or ask about their variety of N/A offerings. Food specials almost every day and a killer happy hour. Sit inside to watch the TVs or outside to enjoy 300 days of 'shine. Stop on a Saturday to try the prime rib with a Patty pour and make sure you say hi to Sally.
I had the philly cheesesteak sandwich, mushroom swiss burger, and steak tacos. The food was pretty decent and priced fair, but nothing about the food quality stood out enough that would make me want to come back. The service and atmosphere were solid, which is why I am giving this 4 stars instead of 3; I feel like the food quality deserves 3 stars. If you are there playing golf, it is worth a stop. If you are not, it is not worth going out of your way to try.
My wife and I are new to Colorado and were looking for a restaurant with great crab legs and a good Happy Hour. We found it here at Patty Jewitt Bar & Grill and loved our whole experience. We were seated immediately and received absolutely great service from Kayla S. throughout our first visit. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The manager, Shane ensured everyone there was enjoying their meals and service. This place has it all: great service, delicious food, clean rest rooms, and beautiful views and atmosphere. Five Stars!
This place is a gem that is open to the public. We arrived early on Sunday for breakfast (recommended, it gets busy). Great views, tasty generous portions (I had the chorizo scramble), and wonderful service (Jamie). I understand that their prime rib on Saturdays is well received. The menu is well-rounded and the prices are reasonable. This is definitely a do again.
In the mood for comfort bar food, we decided to go for Patty Jewett Bar & Grill. The drive up to the restaurant takes you through a quiet neighborhood and opens up to a beautiful golf course driveway that takes you through some of the golf course.
We were starving and decided to get 2 appetizers and 2 meals to try. The appetizers we ordered were 1/2 (small) order of Steak Nachos & Mozzarella Sticks. The Mozzarella Sticks were filled generously and there were tons of them. The Steak Nachos were pretty good for a bar specifically. They make their own chips and you can tell right away, these homemade chips were fresh, crispy and stood up to the toppings. The homemade chips was a great add.
We then ordered the Bacon Cheddar Burger and Fish & Chips (Double Order of Onion Rings instead of Fries). My wife enjoyed the Bacon Cheddar Burgwr but after sharing two appetizers she had to take almost all of it home. We both had to take some of our stuff home, because we didn’t expect to get so much food for the price!
The fish and onion rings were spot on. This was my first time trying fried fish and I loved it. I’ve had onion rings many places though and these were apart of the top tier. What you’re looking at is a double order of the premium side (onions rings) which still were generous portion sizes! These onion rings were the perfect amount of hot fried coating with quality onions. The onions were well fried and fit the fried fish very well.
Overall, this is a spot that people NEED to go to. We got a ton of food for $48 + tip. Great value, better views, but the taste is why Patty Jewett Bar & Grill will be in our rotation. When we are looking for good bar food in Colorado Springs, we will be here.
Impressive shrimp appetizer containing considerably more than I expected and a delicious sauce! The side salad was also larger than expected and expertly prepared.
Had the Club House sandwich and totally enjoyed it. The service was very friendly.
This is a classic old, tree lined golf course built at the turn of the century. The original clubhouse is still there and it's awesome. The golf course was in fantastic shape as we've had tons of rain the last month and a half. The course layout is also great, challenging but not so hard that you're not having a good day. I thought it was perfect!
Had an excellent bacon cheeseburger, large beer, and a lovely view. Highly recommend Patty Jewett for a laid back but solid meal. Beautiful patios as well!
The food is great and the price is surprisingly affordable for a grill at a golf course. The staff is attentive and the views of Pike's Peak while you're eating are just icing on the cake.
We go as often as we can.
