Was wanting to try something that we could not get back in Indiana so we stopped here and I'm so glad we did. It was very inviting and clean when I walked in beautiful decore friendly staff great specials! the guy running the meat station was very knowledgeable and helpful family of four all ate for a great price! They didn't have baked potatoes so they accommodated our order with their potato casserole and stacked it with meat and cheese it was amazing. Very clean and up to date! I loved the changing table in the bathroom it was a actual changing table!! Best of all crushed ice! Also got natural lemonade for the same price as soda!! Definitely a good place to eat and I noticed it said under new management so they are doing it right! We will be back
Was in town for a motor car rail run and stopped in. There was a new owner (now local, even better) that cleaned up the place first of all. It was great. Food was great and the new owners and staff were great. Came back the next day and they remembered me which makes you feel like you matter as a customer. Food was excellent both times. First time ordered the 2 meat combo, I choose the Kielbasa and chopped brisket with green beans and slaw. Next day was the chicken breast platter with green beans and bbq beans.
My first experience at a Dickey’s and I was very impressed. Not only was the service top notch and extremely friendly towards us but the food was really good. I especially like how they ask if you want your cut of meat chopped or sliced.
In my travels it’s seemly hard to find good BBQ up north as it’s always been the best down south or in Texas. I’ve often been dissatisfied with BBQ in this region compared to those places. However Dickey’s really made me have faith again that it is possible to get good BBQ up north. I had also ordered the fried Okra which was done very well, generous portion with just the right amount of breading and not soggy like some places will serve it.
Their prices are very reasonable as well. I had an entire meal under $15 which for BBQ isn’t common. Be sure to try the cookies or brownies which are excellent too.

Some of the best Texas barbecue you will find it in the area. Great staff was super friendly, and the owner came out and spoke with everyone personally!!
After new management took over place is very clean! Great food!! Great service!
The new management has absolutely turned this restaurant back around! Delicious food, phenomenal and friendly service, and just overall, the best place to eat in Coldwater. The prices are affordable as well, which is great with all the inflation going on. The owner has a passion for this restaurant to succeed and be the best it can be and through every step of the dining experience, she showed that. I really couldn't say enough good things about this place. Stop in and grab a bite to eat because you won't be disappointed, that is for sure!
We rolled in after lunch with 9 people and had great meals. We had ribs, Brisket, chicken, pulled pork, the pulled pork chili cheese fries, not to mention beans, coleslaw, Mac n cheese, and potato casserole. They had fresh iced tea and lemonade, a bunch of choices for BBQ sauce, and (much appreciated) paper towels on each and every table. New management seems like they're really invested in making this the place to stop when you're in town, and they're doing a great job. Fresh cut fries took a couple minutes longer than the rest of the meal and then came out hot and with coupons for free sandwiches next time we come in. If you're in the area, they're definitely a worth a look.
New owners, clean and inviting place. Very friendly service. Nicolas and Vanessa Ingersoll and mom CC worked very hard to accommodate our group. Food was fresh and hot, generous portions. Thumbs up, support the new owners in their local business!
First time here but definitely won't be the last time. Pulled pork was so tender and the French fries we obviously homemade. Employees were very friendly. Just a great experience all around.
Jessica was amazing !!! She handled our party of 5 like a champ on her own! The place was clean, service was great and staff was very friendly!
