I really like this place. It's a old school Chinese restaurant. Old school fried rice with egg too! I tried 2 combos my first time. The chicken teriyaki was excellent and the egg Foo young was kinda bland and the gravy was orange and weird looking. It was my guy friends food so I didn't take a picture of it but he wasn't too please cause he thought it had cheese in the gravy lol but I had no complaints with my food. And I will definitely be back to try other stuff too!
Vegans take note! They will try to accommodate any menu item vegan style. This is the best kept secret on the west side. Best fried tofu in town period. Absolutely floored by how awesome this place is.
Good old-fashioned Chinese food.
The boneless BBQ spare ribs appetizer is generous and not fatty or greasy.
I'd recommend the sweet and sour chicken and the pork subgum chow mein.
Tried this place for the first time and we absolutely loved our food! The crab rangoon appetizer was absolutely delicious! And all of the other flavors for our entrees were perfect. I also had to include the pic of the lilac bush out front. It made me smile. 🙂
I like this place and I enjoyed the experience, but I think I ordered the wrong thing. I had the Dragon Light combo, which was chicken, pork, and shrimp in a watery sauce. The chicken was breaded, which doesn't work with a liquid sauce. It works very well with a barbecue sauce consistency, bit that's not what they used in this dish.
I'll be back and try something else because they were super nice and the place looks good.
First time at Dragon Light & the service was wonderful & food was absolutely fantastic! 😍 Got the orange chicken & general tso chicken & everything was so good! Will definitely go again 😁
Dragon Light is definitely a great spot for Chinese food! I LOVED the shrimp lo mein because they used large pieces of shrimp not the little ones. The noodles were thin, I prefer that but not everyone will. Would have given 5 stars but we were missing an item from take out, luckily it wasn't a main food. In there defense we ordered a lot. Will be going back and may change to 5 stars if I get all the food. I got the lemon chicken which was delicious. My favorite spot for wonton soup.
Found this place out of the blue when I lived in the neighborhood. The food is always amazing especially for the price! I drive 30 minutes just for the chicken teriyaki combo now!
One of the few restaurants that have no increase their manu prices or Decrease their food quality.. Family own!
