Went in there early in the evening, only a couple other tables were occupied. Surprising considering that the place had a great decor, was clean and inviting. Our wait staff and chef were very accommodating and friendly. Best part being the sushi, the rolls were a great size and damn delicious. Will definitely be coming back when I can, the real crab roll was my favorite!
I ordered so much food that they assumed I was two people and threw in an extra miso soup and two sets of chopsticks . And that is so funny and so sweet that I can’t stop thinking about it. Thank you for being so kind! I’m so excited for the bonus miso soup and I am absolutely going to put it in my thermos while I make calls tomorrow. Nice hot soup the whole day!
The food was delicious I ordered the tempura vegetable, seaweed salad, Miso soup, Philly crunch roll and rose garden roll.
In addition to the most generous portion of seaweed salad that I’ve ever seen they also threw in a side of rice. I can’t believe how thoughtful and sweet they were. Thank you, it made me feel so taken care of! I will absolutely order here again the next time I’m in town.
I have been working downtown for a long time and did not know of Hanabi. I am very excited I found it. They have half off sushi rolls on Wednesday for lunch which is an amazing deal. Stop by for sure.

The sushi is the best in downtown that I have found. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. We have been eating here for several years and have never had a bad meal. And now, the takeout process is very smooth. I would definitely recommend trying Hanabi!
THEY WERE SO NICE AND THE SUSHI WAS SO GOOD! The service was really quick. Between us we had the mango roll, real crab, Philadelphia, rainbow, Hawaiian, ell avocado, and spicy salmon & scallop. I recommend all of them especially the mango and real crab. Love love loved this. Best sushi in Cleveland!
My husband and I had dinner here when we arrived Thursday (6/14) night. The sushi was absolutely amazing! Everything we ordered was terrific and probably some of the best sushi we have ever eaten. The restaurant was clean and the hostess was extremely nice and very accommodating! I highly recommend and will definitely go again when I am back in Cleveland!
Excellent place in the Warehouse District of Downtown Cleveland to get delicious sushi. And it's really good sushi. Go on a Wednesday and it's half price sushi. Bonus. But service was a little slow. We waited 15 minutes before someone took our order. It was lunchtime on a Wednesday and if you're pressed for time, that's too long to wait. Food - 5 🌟 Service - 3 🌟
Best Sushi restaurant I’ve found in Cleveland. We used to eat there about 4 times a year but ever since I discovered Uber Eats will deliver it to my house in Slavic Village we order it for delivery about once every two weeks. I’ve never had a messed up order and it’s always tasted fresh. The physical restaurant is usually fairly quiet and a nice break from crowded and loud dining rooms. I think it’s a hidden gem!
