The atmoshphere, beer selection, food, and staff are outstanding. Brittany was extremely nice, and every suggestion she had was on point.

Third generation restaurant serving delicious, authentic German food in a lodge-like environment. Feels vintagey in the best way. Something for everyone on the all-German menu including veg, seafood, healthy options and, of course, the classics!
Jen was our server and between helping us and managing the bar, she was on point and treated us like family. Fantastic person, great restaurant, delicious food and great pricing too! Would definitely come back for another meal and hopefully see Jen again!
Der Braumeister has some tasty German food. Come extra hungry because all the meals here are very hearty! Four stars solely because it’s missing that extra flavor to really knock it out of the park to warrant that perfect score. I do recommend to visit! Great service!

We have visited many German Restaurants and this was definitely one of our favorites! The food was delicious. We loved the extensive beer list and the exceptional service too! We will definitely be back the next time we’re in Cleveland! Thank you all too for being so respectful of the Service Dog and automatically giving us the corner table.
As a German enthusiast this is my favorite place to grab an authentic German beer- No other Cleveland restaurant has a better variety! The fish fry is always fantastic as well as the ever changing menu full of traditional German-style dishes with a contemporary spin. I always enjoy the local & friendly vibe for a happy hour or cozy meal which makes it easy to support this family owned small business.
Tasty German Food!! Our food tasted that was made from scratch! Very good portion and delicious! Jen, the owner made us feel welcome! She gave us an excellent customer service! If you want to try a different culture food, you have to try this place!

Two notes: one, be aware it’s a little dark in there so keep that in mind. Two, they do have a weekend brunch menu (I didn’t know that so shame on me), if you’re visiting on a weekend know the menu will be a bit different during brunch but their options are still fantastic!!
Whether you're able to sit outside in the Biergarten, at the bar at happy hour, or seated for dinner you are treated to an excellent experience. The drink choices are exceptional and the service incomparable. Jen has continued to offer an excquisite international experience.

I love the schnitzel here. It’s very good. You can tell the owner is passionate about beer. The 12 beers of Christmas is one of the best parts of the restaurant. The selection is phenomenal. The owner is super knowledgeable of the beer as well. Just overall a great experience. Come here to enjoy authentic German beer!

It's extremely loud in the restaurant so not a great location if you're wanting to have a nice conversation with Family.
Our waiter was quite snippy with my senior father so that was bothersome.

Sauerbraten, red cabbage, and sauerkraut were delicous! Along with the sauerkraut balls= MUST HAVE.
I would say average price per plate is about $25-$30.
