I'm a practicing vegan (as much as I can), and this restaurant was suggested by a friend who knew how I'm trying to eat right Some in our party were a little apprehensive because of previous bad experiences at other places. This place did not disappoint!!!!! It was fully amazing and so awesome for a plant-based eater such as myself and those who enjoy meat-based foods as well. I highly, highly recommend! At this time it's BYOB which is kind of a bonus!!!
Loved it! Very friendly staff. We had a sort of combo plate mix of meat and veggie dishes and some Tej honey wine. I am going back for sure.
Amazing food and friendly staff! We got takeout for 4 people and the Zoma Special Combo 2 and Veggie Combo 4 Items was MORE than enough! The beef stew and homemade cottage cheese really stood out to us, as did the cabbage and the red lentils. You might want to get extra injera as well! Definitely recommended.
It is so good and so consistent. Wonderful people. My very favorite vegetarian dinner in all of Cleveland. The injera is fluffy, spongy, and tangy, I love it. Dinner from Zoma feels like home. I have tried every vegetarian dish and I liked all of them very much.
This is our absolute favorite Ethiopian restaurant. They have an amazing vegetarian combo dish that has the best flavors and seasoning. We have tried many other Ethiopian restaurants but they do not compare to Zoma. The owners are very personable and always go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience there.
Got there and they was not open doing the times posted. Wife is fasting and needed to eat. We had to go back to Ethiopian restaurant on the westside
Will update this post a couple of days we did go back for carryout I did give 1 stars but my wife did like the food the vegetarian meal was tasty.

Good healthy food for the soul! Reasonably priced, tasty. Very good Covid-19 cleanliness adherence. My only complaint is that I ordered cabbage and the substitute greens without informing me. ???
Wonderful way to experience the Ethiopian culture through food. The owner is very friendly and happy to answer any questions you may have about the dishes. It smells amazing here. The food is great. Excellent service too. It’s definitely a Cleveland top favorite place to experience culture.
The food here is incredible. This was my first time eating Ethiopian food. Really interesting not having silverware, but it was a great experience. The coffee is really unique and has spices in it. Highly reccomend.
I was looking forward to trying this place for some time and I was not disappointed. Had no problem getting a table for two at lunch which was nice. Service was quick and the prices are similar to other Ethiopian restaurants. We ended up ordering the Zoma platter which is definitely enough to feed 3 people, perhaps even 4 (depending on how hungry you are). Overall, the dishes were tasty but the meat could have been a bit spicier. Will definitely ask for them to kick it up a notch next time I visit. The decor is a little barebones, but minor complaint. Worth the trip.
