I know I didn't give the establishment 5 stars but gave 5 stars to everything else. Let me explain. This being my 2nd visit I had to decide what to get. I love a lot of things so they don't make it easy. (My complaint)
As I come inside there are a couple of seated customers. A lady in front of me ordering and chatting. Good..I'm not in a hurry. Lady behind the counter acknowledge me..good. Customer ordering knew the owner I guessed. Finally make up mind and customer before me says we got the same dessert.
My daughter has been coming a long time but I really don't have an excuse for not stopping in more. So it's me not them.
Everything was good. Chicken salad sub and tuxedo cheesecake 😋
Great authentic tasting Italian next to home! Had no idea my meal was going to taste so good. Excellent friendly service with a taste as good (if not better than) an unnamed chain (rhymes with Bobbas) at a fraction of the price. Highly recommended!!!!
We had a catered event that we had to put together in a hurry. Far (owners son) was very accommodating and assured us that the food would be delivered hot and fresh and on time. True to his word everything was perfect. He gave us peace of mind during a time of stress. When you have over 100 people to feed and the catering comes through we can only say, thank you so much! We highly recommend this restaurant to everyone especially due to the integrity of the owners.
We just moved to the area, and had heard great things about the spot. After a long day of unpacking boxes, and moving around furniture, we just wanted a chill spot, where we could have a quick bite and a glass of wine. Man, this place is just that! Not only was the food fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced, the staff was pleasantly courteous, very informative, and extra hospitable. Especially Caitlin (sp?). Could not be more thrilled to have this super fresh counter, service, Italian restaurant close to us, as I am sure, we will be dining here a lot. Bravo, Lu Cucina, Cheers!
I've been in Clayton for about 2 yrs now and I have to say out of all the pizza I have had. This bar far is the best. This will be my goto spot. My first time going but want be my last. The pizza was perfect in every way. So cheesy with that mozzarella, fresh ingredients. I'm hooked, it's a must try!
Pizza was very good, plenty of toppings, great flavor.

Good Stromboli 🤤 to be completely honest the food is fairly good. Not NY pizza ….The biggest complaint that I would have is the speed and time of service from placing an order until receiving food!!! This seems to be an ongoing issue that management in ownership should fix! But overall good food!
The food is very delicious and they have a wide variety of these to choose from, the people are very friendly and the desserts are to die for.
Food is amazing. Atmosphere is quiet, but overall a great experience. Highly recommend the garlic knots and Pizza!
