Amazing beautiful historical buildings! Our room was very spacious yet had such a warm and cozy feeling. We were in an outer corner room that featured giant windows covered with wood lattice against a backdrop of exposed brick.
The creme de la creme was the bedding that included a feather pillow mattress topper! Coziest night ever at, I felt, a great price!
The staff were very friendly and informative! I would love to stay there again 💕

We go every year to the Common Man Restaurant. My husband parents are buried in Claremont. After our visit to the cemetery, we make our way to the Restaurant..
The staff is wonderful, the food, drinks are great..

This place is a mainstay on our trips to the Northeast. The hotel is amazing, more on that in another review.
The restaurant has a great, relaxed ambiance. Low lighting, beautiful views of the Sugar River, and an eclectic menu. I'll share more pictures later, but I'll start with the complimentary bread. Homemade rolls and fresh peach bread make for a bread lovers dream come true.
The starter of creamy cheesy, bacon and caramelized onion dip makes for a meal on its own. The salmon was delicious and fresh vegetables were very crisp.
It was spectacular enough, that we will be there again tomorrow night and more pictures to follow!
We love the atmosphere, staff and delicious food. My husband's cousin is a bartender there. She is a very good bartender and coworker. They were short handed, like everyone these days. They were still friendly , caring and open with us. We love this restaurant! The food and service are very welcoming. Its a treat to eat here!
Great food, good location and excellent service. If you are a seafood lover, then the Nantucket pie is a must have. Good options for wines and cocktails as well. They also serve pizza and burgers.
Got a takeout burger with fries. Reasonably priced. I think the burger had been frozen but it was still tasty and juicy. Very well prepared and presented, fries were very hot and crisp. Good portion size. Like how they give you crackers and cheese, rolls and butter, and white chocolate bits with it complementary.. Very good touch. Restaurant itself is attractive.
Always a wonderful evening! We called ahead to be put on the wait list 1 hour ahead of time (highly recommend on a weekend) and arrived to be seated reasonably quickly. Food is never disappointing and, even on a night like tonight when tables were full, service was friendly and helpful. Bacon onion chicken, steak tips, pulled pork mac, pot roast, dip birger are all our favorites. David did a great, attentive job as our server tonight despite being busy. We love coming for a special night out like our wedding anniversary this weekend, always looking forward to next time!
