Great family place. top notch sushi!. I've lived in the area and it took me forever to get here. The service was good and the atmosphere was great. The bartender was very personable. The sushi rolls were great. Definitely recommend.
Went for lunch and am happy to say it wasn't bad. With the bad reviews I was worried. Its not quick but its habachi so its not meant to be. I will say, make sure to get a refill before you eat or get two cups.. The drink service did suck.
Happy Birthday!!!. I came in for my birthday a few nights ago and everything was perfection from the moment we walked through the door. The girl who greeted us was so pretty and also very nice and welcoming. She took us to our table and our server came over. He was a tall guy with glasses and had a great sense of humor. He took our orders like a pro. We hardly had to wait as he quickly brought out our drinks and soups and salad. The fun really started when the hibachi chef came out to cook for us. All I can say is that it was a blast!! Our chefs said his name was jackie chan and he was hilarious! He was like a little ninja the way he sliced and diced the vegetables. And there was fire! Multiple times! I could hardly keep up with him. After the show, we enjoyed our delicious meal. Just when I thought the fun was over, then the whole restaurant popped out and surprised me with a birthday song! Imagine, little ole me at the center of attention! I got a free tempura ice cream along with a birthday serenade! It was awesome!! Best birthday ever!!
Not bad. I've been here a few times for the half price sushi deal on Thursday night. In the end, due to buying drinks, an appetizer, and the tip, I end up spending as much as I would have getting carryout, but regardless, it's a good deal. The place is usually packed with young couples that night.
As far as the quality of the sushi goes, I'd say it is above average. You could certainly do worse in the area, but you could do better as well.
Overall, standard sort of teppanyaki + sushi place. The name makes it sound a little more exciting than it actually is. Worth going to if you're in the area, but not worth traveling for.
Food was good we did sushi and skipped the hibachi. Service was a bit slowbut not so bad that it ruined the experience. Would recommend just be prepared to wait a bit if the place gets busy.
Amazing food!. The food is always fantastic. Service is often too slow, though.
1/2 price sushi. Great restaurant to go to on a Thursday evening, 1/2 sushi for me and hibachi for my wife. However, you may want to tell the wait staff to hold a non-sushi meal till the sushi is ready. Overall a good experience and good food.
The restaurant got new management/owners, and I have to say the food was delicious! The ingredients tasted really fresh and the sushi rolls we ordered were very well made. Menu has got a nice variety as well! Will be returning again for sure!

Simply great food. Japanese owned owners were very friendly and experienced with years in the business. They have excelled with their previous restaurants in Cincinnati. Almost didn’t go because of the previous reviews but this is a hidden gem. Will continue to go and enjoy this authentic food.

Such an amazing experience! The staff is so kind and service was top notch! We order hibachi and several appetizers. So good!
So good! Everything was absolutely delicious. Everyone we encountered was lovely. The chef was so nice and the food he cooked was amazing. Perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. Our waitress was so sweet! I love hot sake and this one was fantastic, had a little sweetness to it, so good. We love hibachi and this is definitely at the top of our list.
*Bonus- the chefs were not at all hard to look at 😍
The main food was AMAZING. Our chief knew what he was doing. Very personable, very good cook. Very awesome meal. The chef at the table next to us, not so much. He fumbled the spatula, knocked over his onion tower, and was just not very good at his job. Our server was not very professional. He was also not a very good server in general. I'm rating 4 stars for the food and our chef's demeanor. They took the cake.
Hibachi grill was a wonderful experience...If u like warm n good food served at the right time, this is the place for u...The quantity of the food served is such that u need to be empty stomach to finish all of it.. overall it was nice
Amazing food! It was my girlfriend and her daughters first time at a Hibachi Grill and they absolutely loved it! Shout out to our cook for that evening he was super good at doing tricks while he cooked the food in front of us and did a great job. Best part was the food it tasted great!
They are one of my favorites for birthday dinners. The atmosphere is amazing and the food is delicious. The portions are crazy huge. The guys are really great at the habatchi and they never cease to make us feel welcome.
Did not experience any of the issues described in the lower ratings. There was a couple at our grill that left because the gentleman did not like the "house" salad dressing and did not offer alternatives. The service was timely, the food was cooked as requested and also in a timely manner. Had no issues. The only draw back is the price. We had the steak, chicken and shrimp with fried rice and a order of mixed sushi. All that averaged 30 per plate. Would return.
It's not nearly as entertaining at lunch BUT the food was still great.
