The Downtown Kroger store is convenient for quick trips. It is a small store with fewer options on products. Panhandling takes place outside of this location but it is not too bad. It is almost always busy with a wait to get to a self checkout kiosk. It is clean and usually organized. I try to only get things that are in immediate need. Prices at Kroger are high compared to other grocery stores.
Super clean, very well stocked and plenty to choose from, this is a vast improvement from the previous location on Vine St., shopping on the first floor and a full eatery on the second floor. Yes they have elevators if you are unable to take the stairs.
What a blessing this store is to downtown Cincinnati. A store exec gave me free tickets to a Reds game while passing though one day. Hot cookies in the produce section. What isn't to love?
Kroger's 1st compact urban store is a huge addition to Cincinnati's urban core. The fresh produce section is the highlight along with the food hall upstairs and ready to eat items.
Meats and bakery sections are a little smaller than a typical store, but with Avril & Bleh down Court Street and Findlay Market a streetcar ride away - that's not really a problem.
(Parking also isn't a problem. First 30 min free and first 2 hours free if you spend over $15.)
Very convenient, clean store when you’re in the area.
Great addition to downtown! I bought some of the sushi for lunch and it was really good. They have Marx hot bagels, which is my favorite bagel shop period. They have Eli’s barbecue and campfire foods which are a hit with my family.
I ate lunch here at one of the eateries upstairs and it was surprisingly good. I had a reuben and fries and chocolate chip cookie. Pretty inexpensive for all that and I enjoyed everything. Rare that you find a nice grocery store with a food court in a downtown area. It is a real gem.
Great experience need more food vendors
Great to have a Downtown grocery store. This one is small in terms of groceries (items run out quickly). Large bakery and grab n go deli area. Has a decent size liquor store, and a cafe with several local food options. Usually it's busy, but there are plenty of shelf self-checkouts. Parking garage with validated parking when you present your receipt. Street parking, too but no validation for those.
Alzena works at Krogers on court st. You can tell when she's had a rough day, but she do not take it out on the customers. She stays pleasant and professional. My stars today is for her customer service.
