The place is definitely a hole in the wall, but it was one of the best meals I've ever had. The kale salad is amazing. Cookies were delicious. Sandwich was a little messy (fell apart) but tasted excellent. Great local establishment! Very reasonably priced.
The sandwiches with funny names (Playboy Club Sandwich, anyone?) are seriously delicious. We had both vegetarian sandwiches including variations of veg, cheese and spreads. The clever part is the freshly made fare is warmed by a burst of steam before serving. The service couldn't be friendlier or more helpful.
I live less than a block away from Gilpin's and I am there way too much. They have a great variety on their menu, and a large selection of vegetarian option which I very much enjoy. Also a great place to get late night food, they are one of the few restaurants in the downtown area that offer late night dining.
So good. I will definitely be coming back in here again. Love a steamed sandwich.
When you think "sandwich on a bagel" you think of a thick piece of bread. Not here. The pretzel bun is stellar, the ingredients are fresh and the service is friendly. Stop in for a fresh sandwich and support local!
Visiting from Indiana for a Reds game. Chicken Gyro and Pulled Pork were off the charts. Service was friendly and great. A must visit if your in town on a weekend and looking for good late night eats.
Great place for a sloppy, horribly unhealthy sandwich. If I were drunk and hungry, or sober and just coming off of a meat-free diet I would gorge myself here.
Friendly staff and great food. I recommend the Yolo with Grippos! Lunch rush can be a little hectic but the staff work through orders quickly.
Originally came here because the offered gluten free buns, now J visit often because of the great food and staff.
Stopped here in our way through from Columbus. Avocado Colorado was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had!
