This place has great food and we really like this place! They offer popcorn and have great burgers! I'm nuts about the Blackend Hamburger! My mom loves the chicken salad and my stepdad loved the meatloaf special!
The burger was awesome. Probably one of the top five burgers I have had in Cincy. My wife had the McCoy steak hoagie which was a large ribeye sandwich. Definitely back again.
Wonderful!. This place had awesome service and great drinks! Also had the best reuben I have had in years! I was also able to order a strawberry daiquiri and get it! I will visit this place often!
Great food...Good value. We came across McCoy's Place on a rainy day....early afternoon.. we went in and was greeted by the people sitting at the bar... like we were old friends.....ordered our food...fish sandwich , chili and fries...Great Grub...The beer was cold the service was great...we will be stopping back by soon.
The food here is amazing!! You have to try the pot roast on a bun!!!

What a Spot!. McCoy's is better than ever under new ownership. Still the best food in town with added weekend specials. Great music. Plus, I've been told there will be upcoming events. The patio is a relaxing atmosphere for a bite to eat with family and friends. We had a blast last Saturday night. The place was rocking!
GREAT Bar & Restaurant!! Excellent wings! Good prices! Building Needs to be expanded a bit for some more room. But it's nice to have place like that close to home.
Rock'n robin. Mccoy's place is a great place to meet your family or friends for dinner, to watch your favorite sports or drinks. mccoy's is a local neighborh restrauant with the felling of home. it reminds me of the tv show "cheers" the place everybody knows your name. mccoy's is a non-smoking atmosphere that allowes everyone to have an enjoyable time. sporting events are a favorite at mccoy's, but they also have live music. (check the calandar of events posted at the restrauant.) the menu has the traditional pub food with a home cooked taste.
Ann Beischel. In one year of working at McCoy's Place, there has never been nor will there ever be SMOKING in our establishment. I believe Mr. Burell has somehow mistaken us for another pub. An employee working that night has asthma and is highly intolerable of smoke of any kind. Walking out our backdoor, you would find ash buckets and a propane heater for our smoking clientel. The food, the atmosphere, and our dedicated regulars, is what makes McCoy's Place THE PLACE to be!

My husband and I went here last night looking for a new pub to try. Let me tell you, this place is homey, affordable, and delicious.
Starting with my order, I got the Fish and Fries ($10). The fish is Mahi Mahi, which I've never had but I love fish and chips so I tried it. I'm not sure if this kind of fish is generally more dense than cod but it was almost like a chicken nugget/tender. Not in a bad way, it was still VERY juicy and fresh. If I had to change anything, it would be the ratio of batter to fish. I prefer a very thick breading, but that's just me. Fries were very crisp and well seasoned.... I had to eat them all and leave no crumbs! The mashed potatoes and gravy ($4) were SO good. They slathered the gravy on there so you had some for every bite of potatoes. I also got a Bahama Mama which was only $6 (WHAT?!). It was made PERFECTLY, and believe me, I am a Bahama Mama expert. Overall, the meal was delicious, affordable, hot, crispy, and juicy.
For my husband's meal, he got a burger (can't seem to remember the name at the moment) with onion rings ($10 total) and a Blue Hawaiian cocktail ($6). He told me the burger was juicy and well seasoned. It had flavor aside from the toppings which is a BIG factor, in my opinion. I did try one of his onion rings and it could have been hotter, but the crunch helped me oversee that. As for his cocktail, I ended up finishing it off since he had to drive and him and I both thought it was very smooth and balanced. He was very satisfied with his meal.
As for the environment, it was very bar-centered with the whole bar full of people talking and having a good time. The table-top seating area itself is a bit small but I never mind that because it gives a homey vibe (I LOVE that). I do wish, though, that there was a more visible "seat yourself" sign. We came in and had no idea what to do so we sat ourselves anyway, which I thought we were being rude to do since I didn't see a sign. Also, there was good music playing that everyone could sing along to - both old and new songs. As for our waitress, she was very nice but I think she was bit newer since she didn't know some of the substitution options. She was still very kind and attentive though.
In sum, I highly recommend checking this place out. When I say it's affordable AND delicious, please know I mean it!
Karaoke night, singing, drinks even coffee ☕. I don't drink anymore, but I love coffee. Service was quick, comfortable, friendly and all kinds of music, and cultures represented, bikers as well. Good time friendly atmosphere.
Quaint, old fashioned set up. Could use some renovation, but works as-is. Service was perfect, and food was delicious. Had the steak hoagy sandwich, which was an actual cooked-to-order ribeye steak, onions, mushrooms, and cheese. Friend had a wrap and he said it was wonderful. We will go back.
This place is veteran owned and operated. They have a phenomenal staff. Always attentive and polite. It's feels like a Cheers kinda place. Live music on Thursday was great. The musician, Ethan Workman, they hired was very interactive and well rounded in his set list.
The steak hoagie is actually a steak-ribeye! Get it with brown gravy, you won't be disappointed. And Of course the beer is cold!
Tried something different & just chose a random place.. Very welcoming atmosphere, I Loved The bar Tenders, They Made sure WE had a great 1st Time experience & They were LOVELY!! & The Food was great🥰 Will Definitely be back.
You can always count on top notch food here! Super fresh, never a disappointment. Super friendly servers, indoor/outdoor seating. Do yourself a favor and give it a try
Went to McCoy's today for the first time to try out their food. We heard it was really good so we had the burgers today and they were excellent.
Crowded, but it was lunch time so waitress very busy. Had pot roast sandwich and it was delicious.
We went with our good friends who go every Monday for the wings. That Monday had a bunch of golfers in there and it was packed. But our server was on top of it drinks came regularly and she took our order and it came out hot and quick. I had a salad and wings and both were fresh and good. Parking is across street and plenty of it. Will be back.
Karaoke DJ was super fun. Lots of good singers. Service for drinks was really good. They serve food but we didn't eat there.
