Id have to say Wild Mikes is one of the better wing joints here in Cincinnati.
They have been serving up delicious wings approx 20 yrs. The wings are decent sized and many flavor choices.
Next to the wings is the rest of the menu.
Your basic bar grub, but equally good as well.
Ice cold beer is readily available to help with Mikes Stupid hot wing sauce..it will burn your mouth off literally...
Give them a try b/c I have to say Wild Mikes is Delicious!!
My amazing fantastical coworker Susie took us on a West Side Adventure for lunch to Wild Mike's in Delhi. I was super excited because I've heard about their wings for years! . I'm not a west sider so I don't know Cheviot from Delhi (the horror) - but I looked at the photos online and this one seemed like the right one.
1st timers to Wild Mike's. Ordered the skins, grilled chicken salad, and wings with Wild Mike's signature sauce. The food was great and priced well. Skins and wings were cooked perfectly, much better than the chain restaurants. Salad was iceberg lettuce only, a better variety or salad mix would have been nice. The only major drawback was the old and dingy decor and rather greasy floor but that did not effect the food quality and taste. Wings were piping hot which was also VERY nice.
Putting Delhi on the map. Wild Mike's is easily the best place on the west side of Cincinnati to get an order of wings. They only had 5 different flavors the last time I was there but they're all great (I've heard they've added two more but I have yet to confirm this). They'll even mix all five together for what they call "Mike's Mix" (which might sound kinda gross but is actually pretty fantastic). They've also got pretty decent sized wings, unlike the bite-size things at Buffalo Wild Wings. Their burgers aren't quite up to par with Red Robin (they're also not as expensive), but they're better than a lot of places. It's a typical sports bar atmosphere, but the staff is friendly and the food is the best in Delhi. I may have moved from the west side (and I'm never going back!) but it's still worth the drive across town for Mike's Mix every now and again.
Great place. Would eat here when I was in college back in the day 1994. Ate here again for homecoming weekend with one of my best friend/brother and former teammate. 10/21/23.
Still great!! Keep it going!
I tried this place when I first moved here a year ago, and I wasn't too impressed. It had slow service, and I didn't think the food price point was worth it. I tried it again a week ago for wing night, and it was absolutely delicious. The wings were juicy and fried perfectly. The sauce was excellent. They are served in bowls because they are super saucy, but some of the sauce does not stick to the wings well. I could still highly recommend the wings, especially on Wednesday.
Food and service are great! Due to a new mixed use development under construction behind the restaurant, it can be tough getting in and out. Also, the dining area is really small and can get quite loud as big groups sometimes come in to hang out for quite a while. Carry out service is excellent!
They have good wings and I have rarely if ever to my recollection had a bad experience with the food in 14 years of patronizing the restaurant.
Dine-in is small to medium sometimes it's packed at normally expected times other times you can walk and get a seat no problem.
Service was great. Never had an empty cup on the table all night. Didn't have to wait to get a table. Staff was friendly. My food was barely warm but everyone else's was hot.
We stopped by for a bite. My wife likes the broccoli cheese soup. I had the wings and we split an order of pickles. We were sat immediately but was about 20 minutes before the server came over to us. We had to flag here down. She was nice and very knowledgeable about the menu. It seems like a challenging night as they appears to be under staffed. I am sure it is not like this all the time. The wings were great. We will return.
Food was great! I had the Chicken Parmasean with a baked potato and slaw. My wife had the fried cod. Both were excellent. A friend of ours was with us and had the veggie burger with steamed broccoli. We all lost our appetites by the end of our meals because we were full!
Only downside was that our waitress didn't check on us very often because she was busy with other tables, so there were a couple of kids that got us refills - making us wonder:
a) were they legal to work; and
b) who got the tips?
Other than that, we had a good time. It was busy, so we had to wait longer than usual for our food and our check, but everyone was nice and friendly.
Good wings! Plenty of sports on Tv. Less of a bar, more of a restaurant which is fine with me for dinner.
basically watered down hot sauce. you could get better wings from the dollar tree around the corner and for a better price. I am making it 5 stars so they don't hide my review.
Best "traditional" style buffalo wings in town in my opinion. Deep fried and crispy, with classic hot sauce. I do wish this restaurant and more wing places offered carrot sticks as an option instead of celery but thats just me nitpicking.
