SLB. This bakery has the most amazing cake. Everything is extremely moist and the icing is amazing. We love the handcrafted roses on the cakes. Great family owned bakery!

Chocolate fudge icing. No lie it's the best chocolicious chocolate fudge icing in the world. You must order it by Wednesday for weekend pick up or you risk not getting it on your cake. Order the chocolate icing and chocolate cake you won't be sorry.

Meringue/Goo/Smeary Cake. I have not been able to find any bakery anywhere that makes the awesome meringue cakes that can be found at St. Lawrence Bakery. It is not even possible to find the recipe for this unique desert on the internet. It is as if it is a Cincinnati secret, much like our chili.
I have done extensive travel, conducted international business and there is no friend, family, or business acquaintance that does not love the meringue cakes of St. Lawrence Bakery.
Unfortunately, as abundant as bakeries and smeary cakes of childhood once were, so called "bakery" chains are taking over Cincinnati with their inferior mass produced products. None of them offer bakery goods that are truly bakery goods. If you consider "Dunkin Doughnuts" doughnuts, you do not have a sophisticated enough palate to appreciate the quality of St. Lawrence Bakery Goods.
But if you want to give your taste buds a treat and taste really great bakery goods, it will be well worth your visit to St. Lawrence Bakery.
OLD FASHIONED BAKERY. This bakery has the BEST bakery goods. Old fashioned things you can't find at other bakeries. There peanut rolls are old fashioned like when I was in Catholic school and we had rools on first Friday of the month and their GOO cake is to die for. Bootom line is if you don't check out this bakery you are missing out.
I miss my favorites cinnamon struesel apple baked cake and their donuts and cookies were the absolute best

My sister used to own Talk of the Town Florist next door to them. I used to get Bakery goods there all the time. My favorite is their Brownies. I hope they still make them , cause Im in Cincinnati temporarily , and I am stopping by before leaving to get some. Yum! 😋 The taste and texture is like no other. Haven't found any comparible. 👍
Best of any place still open. Better then any chain bakery. Service is the only thing better then the bake goods. Cream filled and brownies rock the house.. I pick up and take them road to visit people who doesn't live in Cincinnati anymore. It's my home care package to them.
I have been going to this bakery for years and they are amazing. Their products are of the highest quality. Their service is of the highest quality. It is like stepping back in time to the 1950's and getting the kind of the customer is always right service that was common more so then than now as well as the quality of product and atmosphere from what seems a time past that so many remember as being a better time. This place is a treasure hidden in a small store front near the Kroger in Price Hill and I hope they never close. I've not found a better bakery in Cincinnati.
I highly recommend this bakery. Our family has been going to St. Lawrence Bakery for decades, and I was thrilled when they agreed to bake my wedding cake. We received so many compliments on the taste and look of our wedding cake. It was affordable, ready on time and delivered to the venue, and was beautiful.
St Lawrence has the most wonderful cinnamon cakes, meringues and creme horns. It's the best bakery in the city.We drive 40 minutes to pick up our orders and it's worth every mile. Our children live out of state and we take things to them every time we travel!!
I have enjoyed their bakery goods for the past 40 + years they are always delicious!! I love the cream horns, cookies, danishes, coffee cakes & multi-grain bread everything is great. Babs is wonderful always greets you with a smile! I Can't say anything negative about this bakery. Many of my friends got their wedding cakes here Oh did I mention Pineapple upside down cake or cheesecake its ALL GOOD!!!
The only bad thing is they are closed on Sunday & Monday

You know how most reviews are questionable? The food and service can not possibly be that good! Well...this place is a hidden little pocket of what the world must have tasted like back in our grandparents day. When food was good, homemade, and made with a true passion. I didn't realize food could be this good. I've only, today, tried 4 of their different items, and I'll never go to another bakery. Their puff and choux pastry are the highest quality desert food I've ever eaten. I don't think you could go wrong with anything here, but I'm going back tomorrow for another eclair as soon as they open.
My family has been going here for more than 50 years. I live out of town now but go by St. Lawrence almost every time I'm in Cincinnati. My favorite item is their butter doughnuts. They are a St. Lawrence bakery speciality. I've even had family bring me these doughnuts when they're coming to visit me. They also have delicious cookies and cheesecake. I most definitely recommend this bakery. Word of warning though...youll need to reserve the more popular items like the butter doughnuts.
