Independent owned burger joint. Burgers are made fresh when ordered. They have a small fixing station with shredded lettuce, pickles, onion and tomato. The area also has mustard, ketchup, horseradish sauce and mayonnaise for use. It has lots of Rot Roger memorabilia if your old enough to know who he is. The restaurant years ago was a Roy Rogers but the owner bought it out when they wanted to close his franchise.
This was a pleasant surprise for me. The chicken was sooo good !! I mean really good. It reminded me of my Grannys. Huge Compliment!!! I loved all the pictures hanging and the nice clean restaurant
Roast beef is slipping in quality. Smaller, bun was a bit soggy, and auju flavor was off compared to past visits. Still a decent sandwich, but pricy for it's size.
I like Roney's but recently they been skimpy on their roast beef I mean a slice of cheese covered all the meat...
Great food but I can't see paying for a roast beef that skimpy.
They're fried chicken is the second best I've ever had. Wish they offered more sides than just coleslaw and fries. Still worth a visit though.
If you loved the old Roy Rodgers restaurants, this place is for you. Good chicken, good roast beef. love the lucky R burger with ham. fast service (unless they sold out of chicken and are making more. Lots of Roy Rogers memorabilia.
Best burger around 😋 We like their cheese burgers & roast beef so much. It's worth the drive from Independence Kentucky!
The food is very good. I had to clean my own table off it look like the girls in backward just overwhelmed a little pricey but good food
I have eaten at Roneys since they moved in. Its a simple place. And that is not an insult. Simple sandwiches simple fried chicken from a classic American restaurant. The employees have come and gone but always been nice and accommodating. My son loves the burgers and I love the chicken. I can say I have never had dry chicken there. I truly appreciate consistency.
It was my first time eating at Roney's and it was great! It was a nice atmosphere with reasonably priced food. I ordered the Lucky Burger which is a cheeseburger with ham on it. There is a condiments bar where you can add lettuce, tomato, onion, etc. It was fast service and great food! I would recommend trying it out. There were a lot of people dining at the facility for it being considered fast food.
