First time at this location, currently the oldest Skyline in Cincinnati. Our last time in Cincinnati was 2006 so we were long due this treat and it was just wonderful! As another reviewer mentioned, Skyline always tastes better at the restaurants. One member of our group remembered late nights in college and waiting in long lines to get inside. Loved that there's a parking lot specifically for Skyline. The service was friendly and welcoming and they are always busy keeping the place spotless for everyone.
What a very cool restaurant. 1966 location that is a blast from the past. Kids loved it. Food was great and skyline chili tastes much better at restaurant! Would definitely go back.
Parking: Easy parking in the back but a tight fit for large SUVs and trucks.
Service: Service was kind and friendly. I felt like employees liked their job and had fun.
Food: limited menu but all we ate was great. Funnel fries were one of the big hits. Kids that don’t like chili can get plain spaghetti. So very picky eater friendly
It's a classic. Truly. This is a great location because although it's super busy, the staff is crazy efficient. I loved watching them work in the middle of all the chaos. They were calm, organized, and everything had a system. One guy was in the zone, making plate after plate.
Honestly, the crowds of people really add to this place, as strange as that may sound. It's like an experience with chili at its center. I had a 4-way with onions over pasta, but next time, I'm getting the coneys for sure.
Do you visit Ohio and not get skyline chili?! Parking is right next door, a small lot but very convenient. Greated as soon as you walk in, seated right away, fast service, good food.
Went on a girls trip with my family last week we Hanover been to a Skyline chili before and we was not disappointed. This was a great experience all around. We went at lunch time was seated first thing our waitress Grace was so sweet and helpful we had alot of questions she made the experience even better the food was amazing and fresh the restaurant was very cool looking being downtown and it was clean and easy parking in the back. If you have never been I would recommend visiting this location in Cincinnati and it's only 5 minutes from the zoo.
There is nothing elegant or fancy about Skyline, but it checks all of the boxes where it counts -- Iconic, delicious, and affordable. This Cincinatti delicacy is a "must do" when you're visiting. I had a wonderful time, and would highly recommend it to others visiting.
Friendly service, classic food item. It's just a unique flavor, love a great 4 way with beans. Chilito was great too.
The chili is an acquired taste. A lot of my friends love it, but to my taste,cinnamon just doesn't go with chili. I got a chicken bacon wrap, which was delicious. Service was fast and friendly. I think it's a little pricey for the quantity, but it seems everything is pricey these days.
Of the Cincinnati chili chains, Skyline is the best. The service was great!
I was only in town for a short trip, but I knew I had to try Cincinnati's famous Skyline Chili! It did not disappoint! I knew it was going to be different from the chili that I was used to. It has different spices, such as cinnamon. Most people are used to cinnamon in something sweet. It seems hard for them to wrap their heads around it being in something savory, but I think it's worth a try! I loved it!!! Our server was so knowledgeable and a lot of fun! Will definitely be back on the next trip!
