Delicious late night snack. The restaurant is open late and it’s a perfect desert spot. The waffle is my favorite, very crispy and delicious. Crapes are very tasty as well. Nutella and banana crape is a must. Staff is friendly. Lost of other deserts are also available
Good brunch place! The Belgium waffles were just a tad too sweet for my preferences, but still recommend it. Spicy Bloody Mary is definitely spicy too!
Went in the morning, about some minutes after they opened so not busy at all. Started off with a "SBL" mimosa. Really good, sweet with the mild hint of the alcohol. My significant other got the "Bacon & cheese farm egg" while I received the brunch burger.
Her input on it was that it was good, different textures with the soft egg & creamy cheese mixed well. Whilst mine was straight to the point, a burger with waffle buns & glazed honey inside made it a sweet burger. The medium rare with sweet syrup, brings dazzling to my eye balls.
The waffle was the "Belgium chocolate & cream", don't think it was worth $7 for a bit of waffle with whip cream & chocolate syrup. I'd skip on it next time & just get main courses. To each their own, would come back. Interior is very nice & outdoor seating is great to have for a view but not much of one if cars parked along the curb LOL. Parking is limited on the street, paid street meters.
I had the biscuit and gravy with chicken & it was delicious. The dish is also very heavy so be ready for a nap after you enjoy it. The server was very nice, efficient and helpful. For some reason dining here just doesn’t feel quite like that ‘5 star experience’. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good breakfast but this place wouldn’t make it in my dining out routine.
This eatery had a great view perfect for unwinding during a layover, like I was. The food was well seasoned and croissants are house made which was delightful.
My over all score was docked for not greeting me when I arrived, and workers would pass me without seeing if I needed help. Because I didn’t know what was going on until I had to ask.
Location, food, and great service made our visit to the Taste of Belgium a wonderful experience. We were minutes away so we could go back and forth from the Nat'l Underground Railroad Center. Also, it was near everything the Banks had to offer.
This restaurant was a great spot to enjoy the view of the river while having a great meal and enjoying good drinks with friends, families, or fur babies.
As for me, I went to this place in need of a late lunch since I was driving for 1.5 hours to get to Cincy from a city in KY. I had brought my fur baby with me, and I sat in the restaurant's patio area, which is pet friendly if you're a curious dog mom. I ordered a glass of mimosa, the strawberries & cream waffle, and the Belgian burger. They were so, so good. It made my trip to Cincy worthwhile.
I recommend this place to anybody who are first-timers and who is visiting Cincy. If you check their menu online, they have a wide variety of options to pick from cocktails, beers, coffee, waffles, crepes, and other food!
This place is my spot again whenever I come to visit Cincy in the future.
It was fantastic experience to eat there. For europenian the typical US food can be too heavy after some period of time. Here I found what I love from Poland, so fresh vegetables under olive souce, tasty fish and fried potatoes and nowhere was felt a huge amount of fat. Price Was also adequate to that what I got. Five stars and big recommendation from me.
Sat out on the patio on a beautiful spring afternoon. First time trying goetta and it was good! Had the goetta hash. Hubby and daughter each got waffles and crepes. They were raving about them, so I'm guessing they were excellent. We did a couple of beer flights, which is always fun. I really liked the sour choices. We were able to bring our dog to dine with us on the patio. Good service as well. Was a wonderful experience.
The food was absolutely delicious. Some ingredients were forgotten when the food came out and a glass was sticky. Those just seem like things a server should check prior to putting things on the table. I also ordered a mocha. I don't think it was well mixed. I ended up with thick syrup at the bottom.
The bathrooms were mostly clean, but the floor was sticky. The faucets had good water pressure!
So, overall a good experience. But some aspects were bothersome.
