Eli’s is a Cincinnati must. It may be the best BBQ in the city.
Located on Eastern Avenue near the Precinct, Eli’s offers great classics such as smoked wings, rib tips (what I had today) and more. Their sides are excellent with my personal favorite being the jalapeño cheddar grits 😋.
I enjoy Eli’s and have been several times before today. Always good food and friendly service.
Easily one of the best bbq places I've had, if not the best. Pulled pork is incredible!!! The hot dogs somehow are even better.. amazing beans and Mac n cheese w jalapeno cornbread (was a tad dry but still great) place is BYOB so bring a six pack and order some food at reasonable prices! Cannot recommend this enough, cannot say anything about the other location as I haven't been there but I'm sure it's great!
Loved the subtle hint of brown sugar on the ribs and the service. The sauce was too sweet for my taste, coleslaw refreshing. Not too much meat on the bone yet it was perfectly cooked with a crisp all around yet moderately moist for the meat it was holding.
Sauces are great, the pork was dry and super salty, I was surprised to find out they don't offer brisket or green beans which is what a order 99% of the time when getting bbq.
Man this food was good. We got wings… suuuper tender and delicious with the sauce. Ribs SLAPPED and I had the Hot Dogs and they were everything what I thought it would be. Light on coleslaw next time but still good. Sitting area was nice and warm comfy enough to smash out. Wish they had TVs though. Mac and cheese was mid… never again. Jalapeño cheese grits were surprisingly good.
We had the pulled pork sandwich, ribs, and rib tips. It was amazing!! Loved it. The flavors and texture were great. Had the mac and cheese, it was classic not some weird modern version. The mash potatoes were crisped on one side. We thought it was garlic bread at first but then realized it was the mash. Delicious. The jalapeno corn bread and baked beans were great too.

Purchased sauce and rub online and amazing service. While driving through Ohio, we had to stop. The food was outstanding! So happy we were able to make a pitstop on the way back to Chicago. And yes, we picked up more sauce while we were there.
My first time going here for lunch and I love it already. I had the wings and the ribs. They were amazing! So tender and smoked to perfection 👌🏾 They have a nice sitting area outside and I can't wait until it gets warmer to come back and try more food.
Had dinner at Eli's today. I had the pulled pork, baked beans and ribs. The pull pork was very good, but they did not give me as much as I had in the past. Ribs were okay, but the beans were more soupy than beans. My wife had the turkey and she was pleased, but agreed with me on the baked beans. We do like Eli's and will probably return, but we hope the bake beans are better.

I've eaten here a couple times and have always enjoyed it. I love their rib tips. Absolutely delicious and satisfying. The restaurant is a BYOB. Yes its a bring your own beverage place. They have some soft drinks and water to sell though.
Service is nice and quick. Longest wait is up to 30 mins but its usually faster. Indoor and outdoor seating. One indoor restroom and one outdoor restroom.
