Amazing and very delicious burger. If you are not that hungry, don't get the giant classic cheeseburger. Combo with drink and fries for about $9, same as what you would pay at a franchise restaurant like McDonald's. If you feel like having a burger, stop by here instead.
Tried this place out after hearing about from a friend. It's a small little mom & pop style burger joint. Feeling hungry that day, I had the 1/2 lb burger with garlic fries. Everything was on point! The meat patty was cooked properly, the bun was fresh, and everything else was to the right proportions. I opted for grilled onions which makes any burger better. The garlic fries were delicious and not overly garlic-y. What makes this burger unique though is their sauce! It's similar to other places' secret sauce, but I believe Halphen Red can hold it's own against the competition. It's got the right amount of tangy-ness and flavor that compliments the burger well. The service at this place was exceptional as well. I remember the guy behind the counter stated it was first day, but he handled himself with well and was friendly. As it was my first time eating there, he offered his recommendations with enthusiasm. Definitely will eat here again!
I love this place. They make amazing large burgers! Seriously, great tasting and amazing portion size! I have told so many friends about this place too. I recently went over and it has been closed for the past week, hopefully they are not going out of business. I love supporting local businesses!
When my daughter has a bad day, I can always take her to Halphen Red for a burger and fries. She loves it and I agree. Two thumbs up! No 4 thumbs up! They are yummy! The owner Jesse is awesome as well. We feel like home when we go get a burger!
Love coming here for a great burger. It will take awhile to make your burger fresh, but it's well worth the wait. I put caramelized onions, pepperjack cheese, with their special halphen sauce. More expensive than In-n-Out, but an excellent bigger and juicier burger.
we love these burgers but every time that we come we say that they used better buns. the bun starts getting soggy or fall apart before we are done. so then we stay away for awhile. but they are our favorite burgers and the service is great.
