Excellent. Hienie's is the place to go to for any catering parties or just a great meal.. They have the VERY best chicken around and make sure you get both the mild and hot sauce to go with it....we will go an hour out of our way just to get their chicken for our parties....nothing beats Hiene's chicken!!
I have lived on the North side of Chicago for almost 13 years after being raised in the suburbs, and I fell in love with the Chicken Wings at Heine's while working on the southside.
They are bar none the best wings in Chicago!!! I am a fan for life.
I have even driven the almost 30 miles just for an order of wings!!
The Best!. I grew up eating Hienie's fried chicken its the best I have ever tasted and that hot suace is also the best. I live in Austin texas now and I only wish they had a Hienie's chicken here it would beat all the chicken places here , Hienie's! my familly misses you.
Long time lover of. The instant I walk in the door the smell returns me to my childhood and the food tastes as good as I remember. Order more than you think because it tastes so good everyone wants seconds. Get a order of fries to go with mixed sauce on them, their awesome.
Hienie's is probably the best fried shrimp on the southside of Chicago. Other things to try are the chicken, the perch, and the gizzards. All dishes are served with either hot or mild sauce on it or on the side. On Wednesdays shrimp are on sale so call ahead. The sauces; The hot sauce is like a thick and creamier Luisiana. The mild sauce is sort of a barbeque sauce. I suggest you ask for it on the side and try one of each.
Man oh man was that orange hot sauce the perfect compliment to their chicken and shrimp. I would've taken a picture but my appetite got the better of me. Simply delicious. 😋
The fish is great the chicken nice the pizza is really good coming out of the oven almost New York style thin crust
Stopped by for a quick bite to eat for lunch and quick it was. Speedy superb service. Ample menu varieties. Friendly and professional staff. As far as the food.....Awesomeness!!! Ordered 4 wings and I got a fresh crispy fried delicacy. Very reasonably priced!! Will return for my lunches in the future.
Haven’t had the privilege of eating here yet, but one of the workers has some of the most pretty sky blue ice eyes I have ever seen. I look forward to having dinner & a view of those eyes !!! What a treat! I recommend the view to everyone, it’s worth the wait.
I had the wings, they were pretty good and I like their sauce. It taste like it has a mustard base with just a little kick.
