We were stayed at the Thompson which is right across the road. The breakfast was fine. Service was good. Just nothing special. Quite expensive for what we ordered.

Maple Syrup Please!. I like it I like it very much! The service is cool, but the menu and the food is so much cooler. I love the pancakes as well as the cereal and milk. I am a simple person when it comes to food and they satisfy every breakfast taste in my body. Great location as well!
I've been in this place everytime I land in Chicago. Everything is tasty. We order pancakes, crepes, and omelettes. There's a waiting line and usually it extends outside. They refill coffee and service is very quick. I don't need to mention taste because every single meal you try is perfect. I don't think you can book. So try coming here on weekdays.
Everything here was delicious! The service was very quick especially for the amount of people in there. There was a long line to get in but only waited about 10 minutes to get seated! I ordered the strawberry pancakes with sausage and eggs. Everything was nice and fresh! I thoroughly enjoyed everything! My only complaint is for the price you pay (which I expect being in Chicago) the portion sizes are quite small compared to what I've had elsewhere and I left there still a little hungry.

I do however always want my food right because I do not eat a meal like this but
once in a day. I have not been in about 4 months.
When I am here I get either the farmer scrabbled without mushrooms. I may have a omelette with the same ingredient but with Gouda cheese.
I go for all green veggies and pepper jack cheese. I do not eat pancakes here.
I get a well toasted close to black English muffin smothered in butter with strawberry preserves .
Drink: Orange Juice with Grapefruit juice a beautiful waitress suggested for me.
Busy, but didn't have to wait too long for a table. Well worth it! Service was great and food came out fast. Admittedly, I'm not a huge fan of pancakes, but these pancakes were delicious!! Perfect texture, flavor, and thickness. Generous portions. Overall, loved my experience and will be back every time I visit Chicago.

The food is decent... If you decide to go for take out do order ahead of time otherwise you'll have a long line to wait in. Also, if you decide to eat in try to arrive early so you won't have to wait 40-60 minutes for a table.
Our waiter, I believe his name was Quinten, was excellent! Very kind and thorough. The hostess was also very nice. The food was good and came out in a timely fashion. Was very pleased and I would visit again.
