Next Door is under-promoted- it's a comfortable place to work and learn. They also offer free coaching as a resource. I just started working with John for personal finance organization and accountability and I highly recommend him!
It is such a blessing to have Next Door just blocks away from where I live and where I work. The coffee and food, customer service, and spaces to work are all added bonuses. There is a tangible sense of family here, and their scheduled events are really something special.
Like a good neighbor, Next Door is there. =) (Can I say that?)
Great mix between coffee shop and coworkspace. The café offers great sandwiches and coffee. There are two meeting rooms and three cubicles that can be reserved for free.
There are classes and financial coaching offered for free too thanks to StateFarm who sponsors this space.
This cozy coffee shop has a sincere homey, empowering atmosphere. People come here for serious self improvement, whether that's educational, finance, professional, coaching, you make it and everyone wants you to succeed. All programs are empowering and free, there's no push to buy anything and, unlike Starbucks, music isn't so loud so you can have a quiet phone conversation. The one pretty annoying thing is the height of tables and chairs are really really uncomfortable.
Awesome place to sit and relax. The empowering atmosphere also inspires you to get some work done. Lots of classes and resources at your disposal. The coffee is fantastic too!!
Great place for studying Not overly crowded and very quiet compared to most coffee shops in the area which seem to pump in incredibly loud music for no apparent reason. They also allow you to bring in food/drinks from other places which is great for a place across from a donut shop!
I'm not sure what to make of Next Door. I was meeting with a small working group, and someone chose this place. It's not quite a coffee shop, it's not quite a shared office or conference space. I really like the concept of a place open for people to work or meet that's more office like than a coffee shop. The areas set up for group meetings looked good, with plenty of whiteboard. However, there's really not enough seating or tables and reservations are necessary. The coffee and food selection is small but adequate and tasty. I will probably return, but using Next Door as a work or meeting space requires advance planning. Kudis to State Farm (the sponsor) for trying this idea.
This is a great space to rather meet with a group or get work done on your own. They have excellent food and coffee. It's a cool space and they offer some fantastic classes on a variety of topics to educate the community. I'd highly recommend signing up for some of their financial advising classes.
Great atmosphere for working on your own projects or studying. The café is inexpensive and offers cheap refills of your coffee.
Early mornings the crowd is usually small, with business owners or people who work on their own projects. Afternoons and evenings the place gets more packed. On weekends its really crowded, be sure to arrive in the morning to get a spot, especially if you want to work on a group project.
Great place to work. Really good coffee. The atmosphere is mild and productive. They don't play music too loud or make too much noise (like many other coffee shops) so it's easy to get in a rhythm and get work done.
