Co-workers and I used the upstairs for a small event. And it was perfect. The managers and chef went to great lengths to have everything prepared on short notice and had great communication. The spot was perfect for the small gathering which included a large table, projection screen, and they have great taste in decor. Service was great as was the food. If you're looking for a private catered meeting spot or small event this was perfect. 10/10
This was our first and last stop on our first trip to Chicago. Amazing atmosphere and service, plus an added little surprise! Thank you to the amazing staff for making these memorable visits. Can't wait to come back!
Delicious foods, upbeat vibes and hip decor. Amazing that they are one of the few places that carry Sputnik Coffee, give me one more cup please! Really great flavor combos and a nice simple menu. Nicely spicy Bloody Mary and the brunch menu was super satisfying. I had the Croque Winchester and tried the chicken and waffles as well as the Wild Rice. The Croque is really great with their take on it as they replace bread with waffles. Chicken was nice and tangy. The wild rice is a surprising explosion of flavor. Do it if you can! Enjoy! The French onion soup was a great side as well!
The food was great and our server, Connor, was even.better. Tried the kale salad, octopus orzo salad, both were good. The entrees were great. Had the the pork shank and my sister had the salmon. Really enjoyed both dishes. Nice clean ambiance. Will return.
Loved it. The atmosphere was great, the staff is super friendly, and the food was all delicious! Had the Croque Winchester, which is a liege waffle with egg, ham, and gruyere. And the Danish coffee was so good! (It's flavored with liquor and nutmeg)
The Winchester is so cute and bright inside. Went in for brunch and ordered an avocado toast and the Croque Winchester. I know the cost of avocados have gone up recently but $10.50 for my avocado toast with egg was very pricey. Everything was good but I would definitely pass on that dish next time.
We were there at noon on Sunday and glad for our reservation - definitely a busy time but the service was very attentive and friendly.
The menu was shorter than some, but everyone liked what they ordered - though one order of fried chicken and waffles was definitely more well cooked than the other, so if pink meat bothers you, it may be worth specifying you prefer it well done.
The tea and regular coffee are not on the menu - a basic cup of black tea was $4.
Great find in a fantastic neighborhood. From service to cocktails to our meal, they have surpassed any expectations!! Brilliant success!!
This place is fantastic. Service is unparalleled, food is wonderful (flavors are engaging and interesting), beer/cocktail list is well rounded (you'll find something you like), atmosphere is warm. Well worth a visit. I've been there many, many times and expect I will continue going there for the foreseeable future.
I sampled their tasting menu and wine paring for new years 2017 and it was one of the best dining experiences I've had in recent memory.
