The service was excellent. The food was better then any Mexican I have ever had. The margaritas were worth every dime we paid for it. I recommend this place to everyone who wants to try authentic Mexican food.
My new favorite place!! Chicago's best burrito was so Good! Everything we had was delicious. It's a total must try, so worth the wait.
The service and food at Harry Caray's is the best for a before flight breakfast. My server Lillian was very friendly and really pampered me. I was delighted to have lemon and honey served with my hot tea without having to ask for it. The breakfast sandwich on a croissant was just filling enough. If you are in a hurry, the service and food came very quickly.
I got the "chicago's best burrito" and as soon as I tasted it I wanted to be bent over the table and spanked hard. Definitely recommend it!

The guacamole has the consistency of whipped cream and is not good. The house salsa is really good. The food is ok but nothing to rave about.
Omg this place is real good. When ever I try a New Mexican restaurant I try the orchatas and if they are good I will say its a keeper
Great. We were in the area doing some Christmas shopping and thought we'd get a bite to eat. In other words, we didn't make Garcia's our destination but just happened upon it. Well, next time we are in the area it will be a destination. We really enjoyed the Tex-Mex food. The chicken enchiladas with mole sauce were excellent and the pork tostada was tasty. The beans were excellent. I recommend the Cadillac margarita. Service was great, too.
Great Guacamole. Great guacamole and the best steak taco's just steak onions cilantro lime juice perfect.
Great Burrito. I had the Al Pastor Burrito, and it was amazing. If you are a fan of delicious flavor then this is the place to go!
Stuck in Florida, dreaming of Garcia's!. Garcia, please mail me one of you huge Avacado Burritos, the one thats the size of a toddlers head!! Also my husband dreams every night of your Tostadas , and Taquitos. The ony place that gets our mexican food fix down here in Florida, sad to say but its Taco Bell. All other Mex Restaurants are fake and suck down here. Best Mexican Restaurant and in expensive in Chicago Garcias. Has been there for 27+ years I used to eat there when I wa s a kid :)

This place was on point. it did take our server a while to come to the table. but he was very polite, friendly and helpful. Our margaritas were very good and the food was excellent. Came put hot, very fresh and just like we ordered it!! as a matter of face let me give the entire staff a thank you because all of them were moving!! anything we asked for they brought it quickly and I never ran out of water!! thank you for that!! Me and my mom definitely enjoyed and can't wait to go back!!!

I loved it the first time I went here but it had been years since I had gone until I went spontaneously this weekend, and it was the highlight of my weekend.
We walked into the restaurant and they immediately checked for proof of vaccination and we were promptly seated.
I went with my friend and we both ordered margaritas. Mine was a blueberry margarita and he ordered a frozen coconut margarita. They're around 11 bucks each and they both tasted amazing. Keep in mind that they are huge, there's probably 2 drinks in each marg so you're definitely getting your money's worth.
For appetizers we had chips, salsa, and guacamole. They were all super tasty and the chips were fresh. I got 2 tacos and he got the Garcia's Favorite combo which consists of a taco, a tostada, and 2 enchiladas. All the food was super flavorful. The portions are big so you'll definitely have leftovers to take home!
Overall, this is a restaurant with really great food and really big portions so you're definitely getting your bang for your buck.
Friendly staff, tasty food (in HUGE portions), lively atmosphere - it's a neighborhood staple. I tried the Camarones Veracruzana, wanting something lighter than my typical enchiladas - the shrimp were perfectly cooked, though the sauce was sweeter than I'd expected... a big squeeze of lemon helped a lot, and the salad + avocado was a fresh and delicious addition. My husband had the Chicken Fajitas, his go-to order, and it was juicy and delicious as always.
The main drawback is the noise level during busy times - at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon, we practically had to shout to talk with each other. Don't bring your hard-of-hearing parents during peak hours! :-)
It's exactly what you need when craving Mexican food and a good chips and salsa set up. You aren't going to encounter earth shattering flavors but the service is good, food consistent, and good portions. Maybe not the most "authentic" but always good.
By far our favorite Mexican Restaurant in Chicago. It never disappoints. The staff are courteous and efficient. Our server Jennifer was excellent. They accommodated 6 of us including 2 little children. Their Covid precautions are great. The place is very clean and large enough to accommodate parties. And the food is absolutely the best. And man those Margaritas are the best!!!
Super busy to be expected it was Cinco De Mayo! But we were seated in 45 min so that was cool. Super nice place, nice staff and excellent food 👌🏻
Always a great time here at Garcia's. Staff is super friendly and attentive to detail. Ordered Chicago's Best Burrito and by far one of the top dishes on the menu. The al pastor here is what took the dish to the next level. Highly recommend trying this massive burrito. Also if you are looking for a margarita, try their pitchers. Best "bang for your buck" and they are not overly sweet. You can tell they have perfected their homemade recipe. If you are in the area and looking for a solid Mexican restaurant this is the go-to must stop!

Great food, exceptional service, and a lovely atmosphere. Don't be put off by the price of a marg pitcher - it's absolutely able to serve a table of four or five easily. I can't wait to come here again!
