This is off the beaten path and one of the best restaurants (period) in the city, as far as I'm concerned. I have taken folks from DF here and they have occasionally shed a tear (literally) as it's so much like the food from back home. Would like to keep it "unknown" but it does deserve to be shared.
My husband and I drove 45 minutes to eat here and boy was it worth the drive. Not only was there food AMAZING everyone was so kind and personable.
This is such a small place but when you walk in you get a nice feel of a Mexico like little shop selling some delicious tacos. The flavor taste so good for such a small location. You can also buy groceries if you want and tasty treats from ice cream to Mexican candy.
Soooo good. The owners are so nice and welcoming. They even treated us to sample a taco and fermented drink, it was amazing. Definitely will come back. The tacos are amazing 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍
I cannot express in plain words how great these tacos are!!! Small, modest place, not great for large groups, sketchy neighborhood, but well worth it!
I recommend tacos de tripas but honestly the quality of meat this place uses for all their dishes in combination with their recipes makes any taco choice a great experience.
Sit at the bar window and order tacos 2-3 at a time and shoot the breeze with the friendly cook and enjoy the time with great food and great company.
Tacos are straightforward and good but nothing to blow your mind. Giving a 4 stars just because the atmosphere. The suadero tacos were probably my favorite. I also liked the sauces!
The best place to eat authentic tacos! Even the tortillas are juicy,nice and greasy in a good way .So good and yes Im going back for more, worth the trip.
A little off the beaten path but if you're in the search for really really good tacos this is the place to look for. Tried 7 varieties and not a bad one in the bunch flavors that ran the gamut on your taste buds add a little hot sauce or a bite of charred onion and your travels to taco narvana are realized
Some of my favorite tacos in Chicago! These are CDMX style and you will want to order more than you normally would! The al pastor tacos here are my favorite and if you have not tried tepache before, I highly recommend! It is a unique drink to CDMX that tastes like a fresh pineapple soda.
