Literally the most authentic Chicago diner in the whole city. I've been out here for almost 9 years now and I didn't know Italian beef could taste even better than I've already experienced. Also the FRIES were incredible. Everything here is amazing. Hands down the best food in the city. 😍💕
Fantastic little hotdog joint. Cash only, stools inside and picnic tables outside. Food was fabulous, great classic Chicago dog and hand cut fries. Come rolled together. For the price, AMAZING.
Think there was too much hype which this place didn't live up to. Maybe it was an off day? I got the trio and a hotdog. I shouldve just got the Italian beef. Didn't think the fries were anything special either. I'd still give it another shot given the chance

Retro style diner, with amazing chicken parm sandwiches and cheeseburgers. The menu all looked so good I couldn't decide! They are cash only, so please be mindful of that when eating there.
The best polish and fresh cut fries We went by there last week and I tried the Italian beef combo it was soo good. I ate it so fast I forgot to take a picture. Yummy!
Best hot dog and fresh cut fries on the northwest side! You can tell they care about the community and have a quality product. They also don’t kill you with their prices.. very fair! Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.
You want good Italian beef? Go anywhere that sells it. You want the best Italian beef? This is where you go. Drive, walk or run. You will NOT be disappointed. My favorite for a long time.
I love these neighborhood hot dog joints throughout Chicago and Bob-O's is one of the best I've had. The fresh cut fries were soo good and I had a cheezy beef with sweet peppers and its was big and good! Only thing, if you're coming to Bob-O's, it is cash only, so be prepared!!
Can you believe this joints been around for 65 years!? And it's the same as I remember from when I first went there in the early 90s when I started my career. Of course the hot dogs are a bit more than they were back I the day, but they still do a great job. I prefer the char dog (drag it tru da garden) over the traditional steamed dog, but your boy likes a little char. The fries are excellent. Just excellent. And they come with your hot dog! The only mistake I made was not getting the double dog because the actual frankfurter, the wiener, seemed much smaller than what I've had from other places (-one star). Other than that, delicious. Great neighborhood institution.
