This was a place I stepped in to crab a quick bite without a recommendation. I ordered a chicken medley. The food was of good quality and the chicken delicious. Would highly recommend it. Good value for money!!!
They assemble your food according to the options chosen. Kind of Mediterraneanish faster food, great for lunch or takeout.
Really, who is kidding you, it is a far cry from authentic, but, perhaps good enough for North American tastes. Surely great for fast moving, instant culture in the loop setting.
They do play up healthy food like organic ingredients, antibiotic free chicken, whole wheat bread, sustainably raised (farmed) salmon etc.
Also they seem to be very good at catering office parties and other events. Good and fast, not great. Surely worth a try.
Roti is roti and this location is similar to the others. It's good for a quick lunch. The line is usually quick and the workers are efficient.
Always a popular selection with my guests when I pick Roti for several business events I've hosted. Going with selections of various wraps makes it easy to order and a snap for everyone to grab halves of different items to try. Delivery charge is a bit pricey but the wraps come with a choice of various sides so you get a fair amount of food. As usual my primarily meat-eating attendees skip over much of the falafel wraps which are equally great, so keep that in mind when ordering, or just convince them to try some :)
Roti is quick, convenient, and reasonably priced mediterranean food! For bring downtown, I'm very impressed with how clean the restaurant is. The staff are friendly, and willing to give you larger portioned sides (if you ask nicely). I will absolutely be coming back when I need a good meal on the go!
Great Mediterranean cuisine; got the meatball bowl. Excellent healthy and fresh options (hummus, couscous, roasted bell pepper paste, pita bread, mixed vegetables, feta cheese, onions). Will definitely recommend and go back here again.
I've been a Roti fan for many years and have lived through the days of unlimited toppings, to 3 toppings, to unlimited again, and many other changes. Roti has been a top spot for over a decade, despite the price increases and many changes to the menu it has always been a great spot to grab a healthier lunch. The only reason I knock Roti one star is they have really trimmed down the vegetables this last go around. For anyone new to Roti, they will probably love it. For anyone who remembers how much variety they had, it is hard to see the reduction in options while the price rises & the box shrinks. All expected during this inflationary period, but cannot help but be disappointed on the incredible options that have been lost. Again, this place is fantastic and should be a part of any lunch rotation.
$10.90 price bowls with a side pitas and whatever toppings you want and the ingredients are super fresh and tasty. I don't normally get full from Mediterranean, but this did it to me.
Some of the best fast food mediterranean in Chicago. Everything is so fresh, organic, and overall good. I'm partial to the chicken roti, but the falafel is some of the best I have ever had. It just falls apart when you eat it and it's so rich in flavor you aren't even tempted to dip it in a sauce.
We tried the BYOB and it was delicious.
The falafel was yummy .
The quantity was adequate.
