Great ambience after hours all the guys that work at Cleos are very familiar. Great bunch of people. Food standards are high for a bar service. No complaints soccer atmosphere is one of a kind for the west town community looking for an after hour spot. Highly recommended been recognized throughout the city of Chicago. I was told about this restaurant but unfortunately I went to the Wells location instead of the one I was told to go to. My muffins were a bit over done compared to the pictures I saw. However, The Mac was amazing. Small and I had to wipe my own table.
The baseline expectation for a bar like this is "yeah, its ok." That said, this place is ok. No juke box, but there was good music playing continuously. Lots of it I didn't recognize and that's not a bad thing.
I payed cash, but the bartender decided to start a tab after I ordered my second beer and food. I did not ask to start a tab. A little worrisome. A little presumptuous. And he did not ask for a card. I wonder how many people walk out on tabs when he does that. Maybe I have an honest face. The bartender gave me an itemized check when I cashed out that included tax I probably wouldn't have been charged if he hadn't decided to open a tab and track it on the computer. Only a 99 cent annoyance, so that's not too bad.
Buffalo tenders and fries were overly salty. Whatever ranch they use is alright. I can't recommend either.
Pretty much your standard sports bar but make it dive. Fish tacos were decent but not mind blowing. The bartender is really nice, he recommended the fruit smash pink lemonade seltzer they have!!
Went to Cleos to watch a Premiere League soccer match. We had some good fried chicken and beers. Very nice atmosphere!
Cleo's Bar and Grill provided a fantastic dining experience. The food was delectable, with diverse menu options. The atmosphere was lively, and the staff were welcoming and attentive. The cocktails were exceptional, making it an excellent spot for a night out with friends or a special dinner. Highly recommended!
Super cozy neighborhood bar with rather delicious food and a nice variety of premium imported and domestic beers. Must visit place. Big on sports, especially European association football. Separate kudos on supporting Ukraine and Ukrainian community!!!
Great beer, great food and they play soccer on TVs, what else can you ask for. This place must be a Blas in summer.
Came here for the Ireland Vs. England Rugby Match in March 2022. Soccer is the priority so we only got one television and no sound. A bit of disappointment on St. Patrick's Day but Regardless the crowd was lively, the food was great, the Guinness was good and the company was the best. Worth every dollar spent and had a great time.
Absolutely the best bar ever. I was stranded in Chicago as a tourist not knowing where anything is and I decide to go into this fine establishment because I was under the influence and wanted to be safe… I walk in there and I’m treated like family automatically. I loved everyone that worked there and also all of the customers. It felt like home but something also something new. Highly recommend this bar if you want to feel safe, loved, comfortable, and apart of the fam.
