I've been coming here for over a decade now. Fine atmosphere, good food, never had a customer service problem... but I could swear the pizza quality has been increasing over time. Therefore, so will the frequency of my visits. The gyros pizza is absurdly delicious.
seriously, one of the best cheese steak places, and this time around was the best sandwich I've had there! can't wait to go back!
The Best Pizza in Chicago! Philly Cheese Steak has been the tastiest sandwich in the city for many decades
I tried philly’s best (Lakeview) for the first time and I was blown away by their quality. Some of the best sub sandwiches I’ve had in the city. I had the traditional Philly and my wife had the Buffalo chicken and we tried both styles of fries they had. All of it was great. It surprised us that we got a free piece of cake by spending +$20 and the cake was great too. They also have by the slice pizza that looked really good. This will become a regular spot for us.

Great lunch deal 2 slices and a drink for $10
The 5 of us decided to have the offer of the day which is 2 slices of pizza with a drink for $9.90. There were just 5 slices of pizza left along with 1 deep dish slice. The new batch was only coming out in 20mins.
The lady generously offered us all the pizza plus 5 drinks and a large portion of fries for $19.80 (2 offer sets).
This was a great deal.
The pizza slices were decent especially topped up with a sprinkle of cheese and chilli flakes which were provided.
The deep dish slice was already cold and the base was hard.
But overall we got a great deal so thumbs up to the lady who served us.
When I say this Philly Cheesesteaks is the BEST I’ve ever had! I took ONE bite and forgot to heat it up a tad bit and add the boss sauce. I’m a stickler for hot temperature food, and normally I don’t like a Philly without mayo. After I snapped out of my trance (it is THAT good), I added tboss sauce and somehow it took the sandwich to a whole new level! This sandwich is excellent without any sauce or mayo, but even better with the condiments. I appreciate that I asked for the sauce on the side (I didn’t know how it would taste) and they followed my request with two small containers. I’m definitely adding this place to my list to take my out of town guest. This must be authentic to the cheesesteaks in Philly! I’m tempted to try it with four blend cheese wiz. I ordered the Philly white American cheese on the garlic bread. I can’t say I tasted the garlic bread, but it probably added to the flavor. Delivery via Uber Eats was fast and easy. Geesh…I just wrote a book about a sandwich!
The tables are dirty, the atmosphere is nothing to write home about, the service is inconsistent, the prices are an outrage.
None of that matters because this is the best cheesesteak in Chicago and it's not even close. The pizza is also extremely solid and they usually have slices ready to go. I'd give the food 6 stars if I could. Worth every penny and annoyance every time.
Pretty good sandwich place. I had the standard Philly cheese steak with wizz and onions. I liked that they cut it and it came hot. The women's bathroom had some accessibility problems. The tissue was not close to the toilet. It was hard to reach.
One of my favorite spots in Chicago! The sandwiches are stuffed and fresh off the grill! You have to get it with mushrooms and cheese whiz! I wish there was a spot in the suburbs!
I had the best Philly cheese steak I ever had in Chicago and I have had Philly cheese steak in Philly. I'm definitely going to go back when I'm in the area, it's a bit pricey $20 for a large Philly cheese steak but it's worth it.
