Very nice and cozy diner. The staffs were really nice. Food was good. The egg and omelette was great. Hash browns were good. Grit was okay. I also liked the pancakes. Great place to have breakfast.
I have a soft spot for diners that sell breakfast past noon and americana classics like root beer floats. The food was decent and I would come back. It definitely looks like the interior of this place hasn't changed since the late 80s but on the upside the prices also seem like they haven't changed! My double stack of pancakes, 2 eggs and 2 bacon was only $11.
The one downside is it smelled a little like lingering cigarette smoke and as we were getting ready to leave the smoke smell intensified, like maybe someone was smoking in the back. Idk but I'm glad we didn't have to smell that while we were eating.
How does one even begin to describe the diner? Everything about it is perfect. We’ve been coming here almost every weekend for the past year, and I guess I’ll start by saying that it has literally the best breakfast food I have ever had. No exaggeration. The best breakfast I have EVER had. Everything is perfectly cooked, fresh to order, and so delicious. I’ve been to some other places recently, and while they weren’t terrible, they did make me appreciate just how good the breakfast here is. Also, I’m not even sure how it’s humanly possible, but they always manage to get your order to you within minutes of it being placed. The quickest service I have ever seen. Drive thru speed, but at a sit down restaurant. The staff is wonderful; the environment is wonderful; we absolutely love this place! And we’ll keep coming back! 10/10
Great prices for good ol fashion comfort diner foods. People are nice and the food came out faster than any other restaurant I've been to in a while. I love this place.

Really good food, great ambient, exelent staff!
We eat inside, our wait time was super low, we get ask if we want coffee and 5min later we start orderin, my favorites dishes so far are the Swiss-Eggs-Bacon Sandwich, and the french toast were really good, I was suprised!

I’ve been meaning to write a review for this spot for years! The LCR has been here for at least as long as I’ve lived in the area and I’m really glad it’s still here (i.e. that it’s survived the pandemic as well as the openings (and closings 😏) of some other fancier spots). Their breakfast food is great - huge omelettes, fluffy French toast...okay grits, etc. and their portions make the already decent prices seem even better. Especially with the assortment of sides that you get with most choices. I have had some misses with their non-breakfast items, but I’m still willing to try more of them.
The staff is friendly enough and at least one seems to recognize me, which is nice since I do t go there THAT often. They’re also fairly quick with food preparation as well. The interior is meh - nothing fancy but nothing too off putting either. Maybe a few ripped seats here and there. I’ve rarely had to use the facilities there but seem to remember they could’ve used a little more elbow grease but the dining room itself is clean.
It would be nice if their online presence worked better/at all. I always have to hunt for a menu using a different source other than the one on their website because it never works.
If you’re looking for tasty food (especially breakfast), and nice and quick service that won’t hurt your wallet then this is definitely the spot for you.
Just what a local diner should be. Friendly service, simple food done right, fair prices. Recommended!

Cute Diner. Very nostalgic. Good food. Had better but the servers and restaurant made it worthwhile.
I love this little neighborhood diner. Cute diner with a vintage flare. I've never had any complaints and the food is always good.
