One of my favorite patios in Chicago has reopened! I tried something new the molcajete (sp?) and it's my new go to--amazing! The only down side is the patio is not dog friendly, hopefully management wakes up and realizes how many dog owners are in the hood.
The wife and have been driving by this spot for the last couple years, always wanted to try it. SO GLAD WE WALKED INTO THIS TRULY REMARKABLE ESTABLISHMENT! The dishes we tried were fantastic, the atmosphere was welcoming and intimidating, service extremely attentive, and I could go on. It was a slow Saturday afternoon when we went, but we really want to go back to enjoy the DJ and dancefloor. Las Fuentes is going on my Favorites List, for sure!
Had a great brunch here today with friends! Alfonso our server was the right amount of attentive and personable - would definitely ask for him again!
Chicken enchiladas were delicious and the Especial Margarita tasted exactly like you'd expect - the perfect combination of sweet and sour. We got the Especial and not the fruit margarita as the restaurant was out of guava the day we went.
FYI for those with tree nut allergies, the mole does contain tree nuts.
Place is cute! Came on a Friday at 430 and left when they closed haha! The outside patio is super cute and is pretty big. Lots of seating! When I got there there was only me and my friend and another table of two people. I was like… “and we needed a reservation???” But then as the night progressed, I saw why… it definitely filled up and was busy! I had the mezcal margaritas the whole night. Definitely delicious! Very sweat but delicious. The food was great! Service was great until they got busy but that was understandable. Would definitely go back!

The tres taco plates make a great lunch. Tinga beef highly recommended. The shrimp tacos are not short on garlic.
Ordered the chicken breast quesadilla. It was incredible. Very well flavored. Their guacamole is also very good. Have a great back patio for enjoying a summer evening. Picture is of the quesedilla.
Seen Las Fuentes On Instagram And Had To Try Them. Being A First Timer, Our Waiter, Gerardo Was Very Nice And Had Great Suggestions On Their Spectacular Menu. Good Selections And GREAT FOOD! I Don't Drink And Their Margarita Was Strongly Alcohol Fused! Lol Tipsy
