My mom and I just came from advocate on 98th and western and the nurse Ms Paula recommend this spot for breakfast.....and it was great...nice waitress old school family style restaurant and the food was great and inexpensive...will be back
Visiting from San Diego and was referred here by family and the food was great and our waitress was awesome! The whole staff was nice and friendly. I strongly recommend eating here!
Everything was delicious. It was a bit crowded so we had to wait [not too long] for a server. Only thing I didn't like was the way the host greeted us and took us to be seated. He just sort of grunted as he waved his hand to show us a table that we declined and asked for another seating.
Mom nd pop place. Not over the top delicious but definitely better than most. If you like simplicity nd a mellow vibe nd over the new age grass wall gen z nonsense this is definitely your place. Good service, clean restaurant.
We came here for my granny 77th bday. This is our first time here. The service was great by Alison and the speed of service was amazing. We are a group of 9 and I swear the food was out in about 10 minutes. Very nice diner. The restaurant is clean as well as the bathroom. I didn’t care for my Louisiana grit bowl it was sort of flavorless. But that’s just my opinion nothing to do with the restaurant. All of the other entrees were amazing. I really liked the gyro skillet.

Me and my hubby loves LUMES. This was our first date and after 3 years this is still our go to. lolbvvs. Food is always AMAZING. Beverly the manager is fabulous as well as the other staff. Thank you for hiring AMAZING people at your establishment. Good service and good food is very important. Happy Monday . I’m never let down when I come here.
My wife and I love coming to the Lume’s on Western. The food is great and the atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The manager Beverly, as well as the rest of the staff are amazing. Definitely recommend this spot for the whole family
The food was good. The service was great. Rosa was amazing. 🤩 I enjoyed the waffle and chicken wings. Just in case you were wondering, they have turkey bacon and turkey sausage.
The food was so delicious! This was my 2nd visit and I went with the Symphony Crepes. Hubby got a Steak Skillet and my son went with the Fluffy Pancakes. My server was very nice and although busy, still able to meet any needs we had. Looking forward to our next time!

Stopped here off I-57 headed south out of the city in search of a breakfast joint. The staff were super kind and treated us amazingly. They were very accommodating with our 5 month old infant. Food was very hot, fresh and tasty. Can’t ask for much more. Good neighborhood stop off the highway!
