Their food is delicious, tandoori chicken, the best.And the samosa😊, the best.
I am so impressed with Rajun Cajun. Their restaurant is as clean today as it was when they first opened years ago. And the food... Delicious.
Food was so good, i wanted to go back for seconds LOL! I love me a good Mediterranean/Indian cuisine. It gives you that home cooked meal experience if you’re away from home and on the go all the time. This is definitely the perfect place for that. The ingredients are natural and authentic. The food is great TRUST ME! If you are vegan this is also a great spot.

This was our go to place when studying at U of Chicago over 20 years ago. Went back after a long time to see the original owner still active and serving up Indian and southern US dishes at this Hyde Park long standing restaurant. Their Indian combo meals are excellent for sure and have remained so over the decades!!
So good with both cuisines!! I had no idea what to order so got (a) the butter chicken combo which was delicious and plenty and then (b) the two piece chicken, which was also delicious. I was traveling and thinking of doing something more formal but so happy I stopped here instead. Folks were nice to help me understand what to order.

Their skilled team left me awestruck, and I'm delighted to have crossed paths with such professionals.
Go to lunch spot in Hyde Park. We've never eaten there, only pickup/delivery. The combos come in these great boxes with main, side, rice, samosa, and paratha. Their tandoori chicken and lamb curry are soooo good. Chicken briyani (only on weekends) is also fantastic. I live for their samosas. Honestly, I've tried almost everything here (*Indian menu; not Southern) and they're all great. The Alo Gobi is really nice, and I love the flavor of the Alo Curry potatoes.
I love idian food and they did not disappoint!! I'm going back and back again! I ordered the lamb curry meal, an additional side of the chickpea soup and the peach cobbler (yes, honey they snapped on the peach cobbler!!!) Oh and they let me taste test 😉
This is my first time EVER leaving a freire for anything so you know the food was just that good. Truly nice people and customer service and the butter chicken was absolutely delicious. If I could give it more stars i would, definitely recommend and will be back
Staff was super friendly and food was super good! This is sort of a see-food kinda place. You pick what you want from a glass display, so don't expect freshly made dishes, but don't let that deter you!
Though, if you're looking for cajun food, this probably isn't the place (I think they had fried chicken.)
Many vegan options! I used to come a lot when I was a student in the neighborhood. Visited again recently and it didn’t disappoint. Spicy and flavorful fast food Indian, what more could you ask for. I do wish they’d stop using styrofoam containers tho, so bad for the environment.
