Sam was great and offered great service. He should get a raise! Yes, it is a tourist place but how can you beat the view? The food was fine. Nothing outstanding but the Chicago hotdog is definitely better than the pizza.
Enjoyed dinner with friends from abroad while we were in town. The food was good. Friends were disappointed that beer isn't actually brewed here, which I would have also thought with the name. The service was good and friendly! We sat right alongside the river, so it was nice scenery to enjoy with our meal.
I am satisfied. Food was above average, great local beers, very good cocktails, fast friendly services, amazing views, clean washrooms, and no nonsense charges like staff support.

Never let's me down! The elote is a must. I order it every time I go. This was my first time getting the jumbo pretzel and my niece and I devoured it. So good!
Oh, and our server, Coco, was awesome!
Great location on the river. Good good and beer selection. The only disappointment was this is not a brewery. The name makes it sound like one but they do not make their own beer.
Discovered this place while looking for somewhere to eat on Memorial Day. It's located on the Riverwalk, which makes for a great view. I got the tacos and wontons, which were both delicious. My friend got the pizza, which was delicious but not filling. Overall the food was great and seeing even better.
The location of this restaurant is the best . Food wasn't the best but I would still visit the Brewhouse again. We had a very romantic date night by the river with breathtaking view . Staff was friendly, I suggest to make reservation since it's a pretty busy restaurant. And you might have to wait for the riverside table since they only have around 10 table by the river. We had a reservation but since I requested to sit by the river we had to wait around 20 minutes which I didn't mind at all. After our time here we had a long riverwalk which we loved .
The Chicago Brewhouse on the Riverwalk in downtown Chicago is one of our favorite Riverwalk restaurants. It has a great vibe, music, amazing architectural and river views and is an excellent place to people watch and ponder. The food is very casual but also very good considering the limited space for the kitchen. Their flatbread is crispy on the bottom and juicy on top. The pork tacos featured here were perfectly prepared with pineapple and limes. The music is fun and the craft beers are local. Check how the flies are buzzing before eating outside on the Riverwalk. On this night the conditions were perfect but we’ve had flies on other occasions, not just at this restaurant but anywhere along the river. Overall excellent experience and a good value too. I think our total bill was $50 including the beers and a 20% tip. Enjoy Chicago in the summer!
The best part of our visit was the sweet server Sophie! She did a wonderful job and was great! It was expensive for a little amount of food so be prepared for that. The food was yummy. My friend enjoyed her gin and tonic that she ordered. The jumbo pretzel had a little salt (which I like) but we didn’t get cheese with it (not sure if we were supposed to ask for it). Overall, worth it for the view and good service!
