Came to Chicago for Juice Wrld day and stopped here the next day to eat. All I can say is I was not disappointed at all. Get the buffalo chicken sandwich and you won’t regret it at all.
A great lunch spot! I had their Reuben Sandwich with a Pickle and my girlfriend had their Truffle BLT. We both loved our sandwiches and the fries were nice and crispy too! None of the food was greasy, very delicious! I recommend the ginger lemonade if you go to eat at The Fat Shallot. Will most definitely be returning to this hidden gem.
When I tell you I have searched far and wide for a vegetarian/ vegan sandwich this good! I got the vegetarian turkey sub with lots of toppings, and I was amazed at how real the turkey tasted. Veggies were fresh, sandwich was well seasoned, and bread was nice and soft. Even my meat eater boyfriend said the turkey tasted real. Amazing to have a classic sub place option for vegetarians and vegans. I will be coming back often!
I got the truffle BLT and spicy sesame fries at the recommendation of Sarah. WOW. The flavor of the BLT is next level, and the smell is intoxicating. The portions were huge, and as someone with an appetite I could only finish half. The fries sauce taste like the spicy mayo one puts on sushi. I’ll 100% be back. Totally worth 10 for the Sandwich, especially if you love blts!
We used The Fat Shallot Food Truck to cater our wedding and it was excellent. The food was fantastic and the service was great. Grace was our main point of contact for arranging the service and she was so helpful and always quick to respond. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing sandwich can’t wait to go back and get more options. Be prepared to be very full after visiting here. Food is great, but not a ton of seating especially in colder months. One of the better spots in Lincoln Park for a weekend lunch IMO
OMG! This is by far the best thing we’ve eaten in Chicago. We ordered the Buffalo Sandwich, BLT, and Seasame seed fries. Let me tell you the sauce on the Buffalo and fries!!!! Heavenly🤩😙👌🏾!Go here please! We spent 34$ and they also have 10$ tequila and homemade juice. I got the tequila with pomegranate hibiscus juice. 10/10 or 5/5 however you want to put it.
I love the Fat Shallot. Definitely one of my regular spots in Lincoln Park. All of the sandwiches are really tasty but I highly recommend the Buffalo Chicken. The potato salad is also one of my favorite side dishes in the whole city. So flavorful!
THE BEST TRUFFLE BLT AROUND! Also don't sleep on the TURKEY! Of course being Celiac I always question sandwich places, but lucky me, they have Gluten Free bread!! Truly some of the best sandwiches around!
