I've been to dozens of whiskey/speakeasy bars across the US and The Office is definitely a stand out. The spirits on offer went from conventionally hard bottles to find, to incredibly rare prohibition era whiskies. The cocktails we had were strong and tasty, the pours heavy, and service excellent. Prices were high throughout, but overall we thoroughly enjoyed our time in the dimly lit vibes of The Office.
Reservations are not easy to get, but it's a worthwhile experience. Do the 5 course tasting menu, but be sure to get some food ahead. The courses served are light fare and the drinks are full pours.
The drinks are very expensive more so than I was expecting. They have a list of $25 cocktails but everything else was $50 and up. We spent about $100 on 3 drinks. They were all good but not mind blowing for those prices.
This was my second visit to the Office and it was a lot of fun. It’s expensive, but you know that before you make a reservation. Tonight, I ordered cocktails not on the menu and I found it more interesting than choosing from the ones listed. The service is great. I mean, the whole thing is a little gimmicky, but it is still an excellent experience.
The bartenders were skilled, creative, and well-informed. The spirit collection is very impressive and the owner has a variety of chartreuse that I haven't seen elsewhere.
The night I went, the staff forgot to put in our orders multiple times, but were otherwise very accommodating, attentive, and happy to converse.
The Hot Dog cocktail was amazing and so innovative! It tasted exactly like all the condiments of a Chicago-style Hot Dog but in a refreshing way. The marinated olives and black truffle popcorn were great food options!
Very chill, classy vibes. At around $25/drink, was a little pricey, but the drinks were good and the atmosphere sophisticated. Great for the alcohol snobs out there. They will make you drinks based on a feeling.
TRUFFLE POPCORN BABY 🌽🍄 had the best time celebrating Ben's birthday at The Office (under @aviarycocktails)
🍄Biggest highlight was the truffle popcorn made with truffle infused butter, shaved truffle, and truffle olive oil. It was AMAZING. If you love truffle, don't forget to get this
🥟They didn't have their truffle bomb 💣 from alinea this time around but is looking to bring it back
🐟Also ordered the salmon rillettes that comes with everything crisped bagel slices, dill, and cucumber. Then the marinated olives (house made with orange chilli and smoke)
There is a larger menu which are all incredibly tasty, I've had the mussels and beef carpaccio before (few years back)
🍹For drinks, we each ordered two cocktails ; the biggest highlight was the. Fizzy gin drink - Collin and Guy would make everything from scratch, beyond the menu based on what you like. This had konbu , cherry blossom, rice wine vinegar, gin, miso, Jasmine flowers . It was so delicate , not too sweet and very well balanced
🥃Another memorable drink also included a really unique brandy and mezcal drink that had Rosemary soaked in orange brandy, Sichuan pepper oiled pepper corns, with smoky mescal, marrow, earl grey syrup , smokey juniper, mushroom - smoked.
Everything is super well thought out. And they mix unique ingredients with it to bring out each unexpected layer of taste & flavor.
Highly recommend this spot. You can book a reservation on @exploretock , make sure to be prepared to spend 💲

What can you say but wow. I'm no cocktail expert or connoisseur. But the Dusty Bottle Experience lived up to my expectations. The 3 classic cocktails were wonderfully balanced and flavorful. We got great insight into the vintage spirits by the staff. The DBE is expensive and def not for everyone. But it's one of a kind.
Wow, what an absolutely incredible experience. The menu is endless -- so many unique, antique bottles of spirits. I asked them to put together a flight of chartreuse for me and I had such a wonderful time. I learned some things, tried new tastes and felt cozy in the small, intimate setting of the speakeasy. The staff was top notch.
