We went for a late lunch on a weekday and were surprised to see there were only a few people sitting at the bar.
We had an order of shrimp tacos (3 per order, crispy fried shrimp, topped with chipotle crema and coleslaw) , the chicken sandwich (topped with jalapeno cole slaw, spicy mayo and pickles) served on a brioche bun with a side of frites, and brussel sprouts with bacon, lemon juice and garlic.
Since they feature over 50 beers, it was hard to decide which ones to choose, but, we had a Lagunitas Little Sumpin (love supporting local businesses) and a Half Acre Pony Pilsner.
We are looking forward to returning and trying some of their signature pizza and a different draft or two.
It seems that most people come here just to drink, but, I would recommend coming here early for the delicious food and staying later for the great drinks and music.
Awesome fun place. We drank here twice. Once at night and once during the day before our flight. Both times were amazing and I recommend going on game day. Go Cubs! We almost miss our flight for the fabulous drinks and appetizers.
Good selection of year round drafts with a rolling group of specialty pours. The happy hour is an amazing deal that goes through 7pm. Pretty good food with service to match depending on who you get. First time I went I tipped the water guy instead of my server because he was much more helpful and attentive. Great central location that doesn't get packed either, definitely recommend.
We went there as it was a short walk from our hotel and we had a taste for pizza. This place is a hidden gem!!!!!!! Holy Cow the pizza is ridiculously awesome and the prices are great! The toppings are piled high and the sauce is delicious. We had the supreme and loved the flavor. The crust is amazing and cooked to a crisp. We will definitely be going back here on our next trip to Chicago!
While I was in Chicago on business my group of friends and I stopped at this rustic dive. The drinks were strong and the service was nice. It was a nice spot to stop on our late night adventure. If I ever stop back in Chicago, this place would be one where I would like to revisit. It is definitely worth five stars.
Went here as a group of co-workers to celebrate a teammates 15th year with the company. I'm not a drinker but I heard good things about the cocktails from my adult beverage loving friends. The food was really good. We had several rounds starting with fresh, warm pretzels with choice between beer mustard with coarse ground mustard seed and cheddar cheese sauce. Crispy pita points with delicious hummus, and assorted veggies. Then we had grilled chicken sliders with pickled cabbage and a thick slice of deli pickle and a yummy spread of some kind. I don't know what it was, and don't really care, it was really good. Then we had several kinds of pizza, I had the spicy pepperoni. Again, yum. First time here. The staff was very attentive to our beverage and food needs. I'd definitely come back again.
They have the best "Build Your Own" bloody Mary bar that I've found in this city on Sundays. It is HUGE, with everything you could imagine to put in your bloody, and 3 different mixes to choose from! Great beer selection. Great place for watching the sports. I heard it gets a little clubby at night.
Love this place most for a post work happy hour. Their food is awesome! I highly recommend the soft pretzels, flatbreads and hummus. Their beer selection is pretty impressive.
This place is packed at night and on the weekends and you can barely move that is the only negative... But it's defiantly a place to be seen in the city.
Great bar for almost any occasion. Excellent food and service. Animal fries and lobster rolls are amazing. They carry Hitachino Nest White Ale which is amazing! Packed for Bears games and any big sporting event.
Not bad of a weekend spot with live DJ top music mix type. No cover on Sat night, dress decent but no actaul restrictions. Average drink prices for the area. Younger crowd.
