I dined here once. The food was great. I ordered: spicy curry salmon, onion rings, spring roll. I will return next time I'm in Chicago.
I do enjoy various Nepali and Indian food. Servers are very friendly and explained menus well. Nepali dumplings (momo) are very tasty and I look forward for more visits.
First time trying this restaurant and this type of food. I was very sceptical on trying it, but my family wanted it. The restaurant was a bit small and tables a bit too close to each other. It's a nice spot nothing fancy. We actually had to wait about 5-10 minutes for a table. After waiting OMG it did not disappoint, I was pleasantly surprised on all the spice flavors.
For starters we had 1 order of 8 chicken steamed Momo's (basically dumplings nothing special) served with two types of Himalayan spicy sauces (so flavorful, Spicy, Delicious), don't recall the names.
Also had 2 orders (4) Vegetable Samosa, so tasty and spicy, we all really enjoyed that.
Last appetizer was included in the main meal (4) vegetarian spring rolls (nothing special just a basic spring roll).
For the main course we had the family meal for 4, it had many different variations, but we had Paneer Bhurji Mild , not too sure what it was but it was very creamy and cheese (Delicious).
2nd we had Chicken Curry Mild (Delicious)
3rd we had Chicken Tikka Masala Mild (Delicious)
Too eat all of this we ordered garlic Naan
And a side of Basmati rice
It was just the right amount of food and for a good price. A family of four 2 adults and 2 teens dined for just at $100 (not including taxes and tip) and still had left overs to take home.
By the end of the meal I was giving my wife a high five for making a great choice on that restaurant. And if we are ever in the neighborhood we will definitely be dining in again.
Awesome place for Indian food.Excellent food! Taste was delicious and service is very satisfactory. The are having lots of options in veg non veg as well. The Nepali momos was ultimate in taste. After India I only found real taste in Momos. The quality of the food is consistently good. food was fresh, properly prepared and a great value for the price. We highly recommend it.
An okay-ish place for momos. I wish the filling were better seasoned. Their soup momos were tastier to my surprise. They had some nice chicken egg rolls - crispy and freshly made.
I wouldn’t really recommend the biryani here. The other dishes are probably better.
I'm always more critical of Indian restaurants being of Indian descent but the food was great! The seating wasn't ideal but I would definitely order out one of their meals! The chicken meal is very reasonably priced and delicious. My only qualm was their inflexibility to substitute regular naan for garlic naan, without any thought. Service could be better but seems like it'd be a great takeout place.
My boyfriend ordered for us through UberEats. This was my first time trying this kind of food, and he's been recommending I try it. We both got the Chicken Tikka Masala, and shared steamed Basmati rice. We also ordered one each of the original Naam and the garlic Naam. We dipped the Naam in the Masala sauce. Everything tasted homemade, just the right amount of spices, huge flavor, quality ingredients, and my body felt good after eating this food. The Tikki Masala blew me away with how delicious it was! We also each got a Mango Lassi, which reminded me of a smoothie, and that was super delicious as well. No mistakes in the order. I look forward to trying a different dish from this restaurant next time we order. We both really enjoyed everything!
Nice Desi restaurant.
5 stars for food taste, but 4 stars for quantity.
5 stars for service and courteous staff.
3 stars for atmosphere. When I visited, it was sweltering inside, and the Air Conditioner was not working.

Updating the review: today I ordered take and the contrast was night and day. Today the food was actually very good. The spice levels were good and despite the food being a take out, it was still nice and warm upon eating (9-11 min walk).

Upon this Thanksgiving holiday, there was not a heap of options available for a quick bite.
The reviews looked good so this place was tried.
Now firstly, seating wasn’t an issue and the food did come fairly quickly. And the restaurant did smell of great food.
The menu was extensive and most folks should be able to find something to their tasting.
However on tasting, although the food was not bad, it’s close to being fairly good but not right up there.
The chilli green chicken Masala that I had, despite ordering extra spicy there was no conceivable heat to it and the dish was actually fairly salty, the salt level ultimately curved my appetite.
The chicken vindaloo was better, although lacking any spice, additionally, potato content outstripped the chicken holding.
The steamed Momo’s were just totally lacking anything resembling an interesting taste, these were a rude waste of money.
The Naan however was exceptional.
Service was poor, drinks ran dry and the wait staff had to be asked for basic things more than once.
In summary certainly not bad, if they reduced the salt and paid a little more attention to customers needs, spice dishes to sensible levels and don’t let drinks run dry, it would be a fairly good quick stop.
Delicious delicious!!
So much food! Flavors were on point.
Rice was soo fluffy and flavorful, the butter chicken was tender and rich
Eggplant was like silk
Momos were so good, freshly steamed and the dipping sauces were the cherry on top
Took one star off because they FORGOT our garlic naan, and they said if we still want it we have to wait 20 minuets... our food was already on the table so we didn’t want to wait. Sad
But other than that it was delicious
